Changing the ambient temperature by 0.1°F (since Undertale uses that unit) without having to do anything physically is still better than keeping the temperature of something that's at most as big as a basketball the same by holding it in your hands (doesn't even work on extremely hot or cold objects since she has no resistance to either and will get hurt).

So I'll just say I'm confident he's fired a gun at once, though I'm not sure if it's affected him in accordance with his super-weakness. FWIW, his weakness may be tied to his ancient age; How old he is varies, much like his weakness. Sometimes he's old enough to have fought in wars, other times he's centuries or even thousands of years old.

Went some looking around, only 2 notable examples I found of him shotting his guns. The first is treehouse of horrors so automatic grain of salt, and the other is him shooting towards the air which caused him to sink into the snow though he immediately just shot himself out of it so that's not even a bad example.

Most cases Burns is just pointing his gun at someone and not actually firing it, so at bare minimal he's typically at a point of holding it consistently and is at least confident enough that he'd land a shot or two depending on how many people he's planning to shoot.

TBF the criteria of 'using a weapon better than the average person' is vague and broad af when that standard changes where you are in the world + average skill in something is hard to quantify.

i've always been of the opinion our combat P&A are weirdly titled. Not only does martial arts include non-formal combat ability (so quite literally not martial arts) but weapon mastery is both kind of weirdly superlative and also weird in that a lot of weaponry is used in ways pretty similar to unarmed combat, whereas ranged weapons are a completely different situation. I suggested just making a "Combat Expertise" page that'd be the fusion of them all and solve some of these problems but Ant didn't like it, so that didn't go anywhere.

I think it'd be an improvement but with questionable additions like "Superhuman Precision" it seems to me like the staff mostly prefer to make P&A specific rather than generic. Still, someone could probably make a more organized push for it, I just floated the idea at some point and didn't really bother to pursue it when it wasn't well received - I'm sure explaining it better could get some more agreements.

There are explicitly characters who have weapon mastery and martial arts who shouldn't. Characters who have martial arts for throwing a generic punch and weapon mastery for swinging a weapon once or even just for holding one, like Petyr Baelish from Game or Thrones.

I guess people want "owns a weapon" to be in the Powers and Abilities section.

Agreed. Velma arguably shouldn't even qualify for martial arts. In real life, self-defence classes targeted towards women are usually counterproductive. That's true for any McDojo, but that's what women's self-defence classes are.

No, Joe just sucks ass lol. His form is awful, he's terrified every time he's in the ring, he foreshadows every punch with several seconds of windup, he doesn't even throw them right, he's french, he doesn't even keep his guard up. It's not a small fish in a big pond situation he's just actually an idiot.

I think Grima's is worse, that guy's application is useless but Grima's actively harmful for him.

While it isn't that relevant in his Awakening key, in the future past, Grima solely lost because Robin kept interfering and screwing him at the worst moments several times:

• Robin held back Grima's attack on Tiki which allowed her soul to live and reincarnate into Naga the only being who could threatened Grima at this point.
• Robin prevented Grima from dealing Chrom the final blow and teleported him to safety.
• Robin during the ending fought Grima over the body's control, incapaciting him long enough for Lucina to complete the rite of Awakening and fatally wound him

Death-Stalker has a bunch of wacky shit. One of his SPC points is having no heartbeat. Idk what else to list it as. Piece de resistance tho, is:

Time Travel, Immortality (Types 4 and 8), Acausality (Type 3; Death-Stalker dies at the hands of Daredevil at some point, but despite this a past version of himself can travel to the future. If a version of him dies at a point besides the fated one, he resurrects back to the point where he deviates from the timeline, with no memory of the incident)

This is just a worse version of the current Type 4

• He WILL perma-die, his resurrection doesn't change that at all no matter what he does.
• There literally cannot be another possible outcome for him
• He has no memory of resurrecting, but he gets depressed whenever it happens

Like c'mon, normal ass humans can survive those things in some rare cases (let alone Composite human, who don't have Immortality type 2 on their profile). IMO Bob should not qualify for this immortality at all, since he died later on, I think it just should upscale his durability instead
