Would a matchup between a 2-A and a 2-C character be doable?

Actually any match between any tier can be made as long as both characters have wincon

Basically match like your example will work
Let’s say character A is 2-A while Character B is 2-C, character B has several hax options that ignores durability which character A doesn’t resist

Yeah. The Beast, a High 6-A character, beat a Tier 4/2 character because they can't resist his hax for example.

It's also doable for 2-A glass canon characters like Elyon for example because her Durability doesn't scale to her AP so if you put her up against a 2-C character or pretty much any character with actual AP above that of a human, they could knock her out or one shot her with a single attack.

It would probably be a mismatch, though- if character A can kill in one shot but character B has thought-based Hax, that’s still a stomp for character B. If the hax takes the same time it would take for A to shoot B, then it’s a mismatch because either A kills B or B kills A, a 50/50 shot.

This is incon not a mismatch
An Incon’s when it’s too close a fight to decide who’s the winner. A mismatch is when it’s practically a stomp- the winner’s decided purely on who shoots first.

Two average people fighting with bats is an incon. A guy with death manip vs a guy with existence erasure (assuming both are thought-based and neither resist) is a mismatch.
