Just got into XiaXia stuff with ISSTH, currently on chapter 168 and have been really enjoying it. Is there a series I should read before continuing ISSTH?
 
You can read it with no problem, just that there will be some small things that may confuse you as some characters from two novels (RI and PotT) will appear but no problem.

I too read ISSTH first before reading any novel from Ergen.

The order of release for Ergen novels is: Renegade Immortal > Pursuit of the Truth > I Shall Seal the Heavens > A Will Eternal > Three Inch World
 
Read ISSTH first if you chose between A Will Eternal and ISTTH. A Will Eternal may spoil you some things regarding ISTTH.

Never finished reading World of Cultivation so I can't give you an opinion.
 
@Dienomite22 If you're not new to Xianxia but began reading Er Gen with ISSTH, I'd reccomend you to make a U-turn and go read Renegade Immortal first, for the perfect reading experience.

And there are 2 forbidden things in this order, that you must not do : -Reading AWE before ISSTH -Reading PotT before RI

ISSTH itself spoils PotT's ending, so I really reccomend starting with RI. At the end of the day, the writing order is the good reading order :).


If you're new to XIanxias tho, i'd rather have you read something liek Coiling Dragon first, so that you be "christened".

@Dienomite It's not, for now aside from the Dropped Against Heaven, there are 5 novels :

Renegade Immortal -> Pursuit of the Truth -> I Shall Seal the Heavens -> A Will Eternal -> A World Worth Protecting

the above being the release order and the good reading order :).

Isn't Renegade Immortal not fully translated or unfinished? That's whats kept me from starting with it.
 
Woops nevermind, was thinking Against Heaven when I said "unfinished" and not fully translated.

It is not, but it is close to. And besides, that's not important at all. Living in the moment imo is quite good as well, and you can interact with fellow readers in the moment. Chapters are also released every day. The Thrill can also be higher.

And if you're not gonna do that because it's not fully translated, i'd rather have you not begin reading Er Gen at all to be honest. Wait till christmas and Ri and PotT would be finished, i guess :/.
 
Renegade Immortal has around 180 chapters left to be translated but the release its two chapters per day so it will finish fast.
 
Well, Wuxiaworld newly released their app so you could try and read there :). I can also give you the link to the discord server, it'll also make it easier for me and for you to talk and give you advices.

There's even a special Er Gen channel there ;).

Dang, It looks like the app is only available for android at the moment.I'll keep a look out for it's release on ios though but until then I'll just read it like I usually do but thanks.

I was in a thread with Dont Talk, and he said a profile doesn't need a key for every arc, and having only one to EoS is a valid thing, so i was thinking, should i just go and create one for Chaoslord Ji Ning?
 
Yeah, it's not as if every Arc/Key is required for a Profile

As long as the Profile itself is useable and can be unferstood

If Ji Ning is a Tier 1 then you'd probably need to make a CRT for others to look over his feats so that it would be decided if he is indeed Tier 1 or not
