Looking at his profile, the only scan which is probably aura is this one as there's no way to make someone feel pain from simply standing a few meters behind them. The other scans are just social influencing.

Edit: Nevermind, various aura scans are scattered throughout the profile instead of being in one place. He has several other aura feats which aren't social influencing

If the effect is supernatural -- regardless of what the verse thinks -- then it's still aura. We won't use social influencing to denote clear physical impossibilities like cracking a window with your "presence."
