I think it is public interest the fact that Deus ex Machina dies on the story, that is also applied for Yuno Gasai, she can die by aging.

Yuno was protected from 4th`s bullet. It does imply she could have been hurt or killed by it, but...it is unclear. Just saying it out loud.
