It might be modified Ether that causes Corruption, and given PubSec specializes with gangs and rogues rather than Ethereals, corrupting weaponry makes sense. It could also be a case where overloading or concentrating Ether can be harmful for Ethereals since Zhu Yuan's weapon specifically can recharge from Ether in the air

i mean to be fair if i knew a cop was pointing a terminal cancer causing gun at me i'd probably just surrender on the spot too
also on that note her weapon profile does show that she carries various different kinds of rounds, and obviously her gun can increase in size depending on who she's fighting against, so i would assume she'd probably use less severe ether rounds or non-ether rounds for petty criminals as opposed to giant ethereal monsters

Meanwhile I doubt Nicole would really hold back from giving her enemies Ether Corruption given her weapon can fire big ass blast of Ether, I’m 100% sure she killed those guys in cars chasing them in Anby’s character trailer and she has threatened to kill some thugs if they don’t cough up the money

As I mentioned, I’m also assuming most of the thugs and mechs we face just have good enough Ether Corruption resistance to avoid terminal corruption at that moment, taking the Attribute Anomaly version instead.
Anywho, getting onto Chapter 3 of ZZZ's main story: Midnight Pursuit.
11:25: An "Ethereal ghost" assumingly transports the CH's (minus Nicole) back to where you start off on the mission.
18:50: Anby was the only one of the present CH's to notice someone/something was watching them since entering the Ballet Twin Towers.
21:30: Anby showcases once more why she is her with her awareness ability owo.
22:10: Lycaon implyingly threatens CH to explain or get out, which he may or may not do on his own or with the rest of Victorian Housekeeping.
23:10: Rina was able to get behind the CH gang without any of them noticing including Anby. This is notable considering how many times Anby's awareness for stuff around her has been demonstrated, yet Rina was behind her without Anby noticing until she spoke up.
1:07:10~1:08:10: V.H Inc. does a bunch of stuff. Rina can float around, Corin can trade blades with a Goblin Ethereal (or at least I think that's what it looks like), Ellen OHK's what I think is a Hait, and Lycaon's legs can allow him to do some burst movement to increase his speed.
1:08:50: Ellen states she and Corin could make a hole out of the metal door they need to go through. The only reason they don't try it is due to the nature of the door being part of inside the Hollow the buildings were in, and doing so would lead to unpredictable hazard changes.
1:13:05: Rina states Lycaon is well adapt with dealing with any electronics.
1:13:42: Rina makes a statement of how "balanced the combat strength" of two teams between her and Lycaon & Ellen and Corin are, with Phaethon wondering whose the strongest in V.H Inc. are.
1:36:10~1:37:13: Victorian Housekeep battles a Marionette, with Lycaon even referring to it as a "difficult guest".
1:37:46~1:37:57: Ellen cuts down some mid-air RPG missiles, then chases after the shooters while also dodging, weaving, cutting down some more.
1:52:35: Corin busts down a fragile wall.
1:55:40: Lycaon is pretty knowledgable about military-class equipment.
2:08:57: Lycaon once again stating off his knowledge of stuff like being able to steer an airship.
2:13:00~2:15:10: VHI fight off the Twin Marionette's and although they didn't defeat them, they strangely leave.
2:15:45: Lycaon uses his legs to give himself a burst boost to reach the airship before it hits the twin towers (OWO).
Like before with 2.5 Interlude, I probably missed some other stuff or didn't put them in if I didn't think they were notable enough so anyone that wants to do this on their own, be my guest.

I know she’d probably canonically want to avoid doing this on people, but the thought of Astra inflicting Corruption via singing is funny.

You know, I could have sworn they give treatments to Ether corruption so it could be possible that even if Zhu Yuan shot someone, the shots wouldn't give that big of a corruption effect on people (unless ofc she just pumps them full of ether shots like someone would with lead). Though even then, New Eridu's current tech level only allows them to treat corruption if it's on a minor scale so chances are if Zhu Yuan isn't careful with her shots, she still can give them cancer xD

Qingyi stops a car
Decided to calc the car feat, and it is 9-B as expected although it was moving way faster than I thought so the value's decently high
There's also potential for a speed feat maybe? Because Zhu Yuan was able to save Belle even though Belle was close to the car and about to get hit
evelyn's character demo is here, not a whole lot feats wise but she was able to pin a guy down who had a gun pointed directly at her before he could shoot which is fairly impressive
i think it's pretty clear though that at the very least evelyn is probably the strongest agent in terms of H2H combat aside from lighter and maybe lycaon
As for rn, we're gonna be tackling one of the special episodes of ZZZ which still run concurrently with the main story given everything that was mentioned up to Chapter 5.

6:38: Zhu Yuan kicks a thug so hard they broke through a construction(?) fence.
9:00~9:15: Seth can break down through stuff, such as a makeshift wall made of cinderblocks.
13:15~15:10: The PubSec Officers fight off Jane Doe and several Mountain Lion members.
15:15~15:45: Jane can keep up with Seth in combat, including reacting to his shield flying off before her and blocking an attack with just her small knife.
20:00 onwards (and somewhat before that): Jane Doe is an expert of infiltration missions, being good enough to become a high ranking member (or very trustworthy) of the Mountain Lions to not have them suspect anything off about her.
1:34:48: Jane dodges a surprise attack from behind.
1:40:10~1:41:48: Together, Seth and Jane were able to fight and defeat Razor.
Hm, probably not worth that much of a post but this is the most notable things I recall of use for the PubSec gang including Seth and Jane?
Everything in between Seth getting captured and PubSec arresting the Mountain Lions is just Jane being good at gaslighting people or being pretty suave enough to get through a gang for a period of time.
Now onto the main numbered story for Chapter 4: Tour De Inferno.
14:32: Phaethon has a special condition that makes them unable to stay inside a Hollow for too long, possibly less than an average person with average ether aptitude.
18:00: This big Ethereal chases after Billy and Phaethon, knocking over a car on the way with one swipe of its hand. Once it catches up to them enough, it sends them flying but both still manage to survive it.
18:39~18:46: Ligther sends said big Ethereal flying with just one charged fire punch.
19:00~20:00: SoC (Caesar and Lighter) and Billy were able to defeat the big Ethereal.
20:30: Billy makes mention about his body being "made of enhanced materials", and somewhat jokingly stated Nicole wouldn't be able to harm him with her bare hand.
22:47: Lucy comes in to swing her bat at Caesar, with the latter blocking it with her makeshift shield.
49:27: We get demonstration of Agents being able to bust down roadblock barriers.
56:17: Burnice rides up pretty close to some barrels only for them to explode on her thanks to some C4. This sends her flying fast into a rock wall, but she recovers pretty quickly after.
57:00~57:35: Pulchra fights Burnice (and assumingly the rest of SoC based on mid-game dialogue) but gives up fighting after a while.
1:02:15: Lighter is a Champion of the SoC's Boss (that is Caesar) and thus acts as her bodyguard and whatnot (Right around before this earlier, Billy was also a Champion of Caesar's prior to joining Cunning Hares). However, he comments that Caesar is herself strong and doesn't really need a bodyguard to protect her. Caesar after states about being the best fighter in SoC.
1:12:25: Lighter defeats some thugs and Bellum.
1:28:20: Burnice is so energetic, it takes Lighter a whole day of sparring with her just to have her tired out.
1:33:15: Mors is aware of the SoC tailing Kasa. It's unclear (IMO at least) if he had prior knowledge somehow or because of his background as a bounty hunter + Thiren that his senses and intuition let him knew they were there.
1:34:27~1:34:44: SoC (Lucy, Lighter, Piper) whoop on Mors, eventually causing him to flee. He doesn't get far due to Caesar showing up and kicking his ass some more (possibly), even sending his motorbike flying.
1:53:36: Caesar states herself that she's stronger than Lighter, supporting Lighter's statement from earlier about her strength.
2:21:21: Mors gets his ass kicked again but manages to get on out of there.
2:22:55: Pompey, despite slowly being corrupted into an Ethereal, was able to muster enough strength to slash Lucius. The latter even refers to Pompey as a "monster" for the strength he was able to pull up despite his declining condition to a corrupted.
2:27:32: SoC (Caesar, Lucy, Lighter) take on the newly Corrupted Pompey.
2:28:00: Corrupted Pompey's Ether activity grows even more to their second phase, making them even stronger than before.
2:29:30: SoC were able to beat back Corrupted Pompey. Corrupted Pompey still continues on fighting, even throwing Caesar's motorbike and charging right after. They then fall into the lava of Cinder Lake, finally ending them for good.
2:39:20: Lighter talks about Billy and how his combat skills aren't something "anyone can just master". He also states Billy has "gotten good at hiding his edge" as someone "born for combat". This implies the Billy we play with is stronger than he looks and is hiding it behind a goofy facade. Somewhat even echoing his vague comment of Anby talking about Billy not being able to stop her if she went all out way back in Chapter 1.

what exactly would this be classified as? it ignore's enemy ether RES which i guess technically could be considered durability negation, but that doesn't feel super right to me. just wanted to make sure i have it classified correctly before i add it to her profile

S11's MC06 says the same thing in her being able to ignore 25% of a person's FIRE RES. Durability Neg is more towards physical toughness/durability, and anything that's Ether-based is more towards resistance to hax or whatnot.
In this case though, you should put Limited since Zhu Yuan's only ignoring a quarter of a target's resistance to Ether-based attacks. I did the same for S11 for her's.
i listed her as being 9-B, possibly 9-A in her tier. is there a different way i should format the other tiers in the profile? i just kinda assumed it was fine
Yeah, you're using the tier separation wrong as Naito pointed out.
You only use | bit if a character in question actually got stronger through some progression story, a power up, or something else. You can look at stuff like that on pages like Goku, Naruto, Ichigo, and so on for reference.
Zhu Yuan doesn't have anything like that but the least you can do is have everything you put with | replaced with a comma. Again, as Naito put it.
Just to do this real quick as I'm doing something else (of my own interest), here's a recap again of the second special episode we got: Virtual Revenge, starring Yanagi.
Sooshirohl already listed the most notable things that happened the first time the special ep came out so I will just repost their comment with mines for convenience. For further ease of reference stamping, I'll put in the time mark so it'd be somewhat easier to list.
i think this feat was briefly mentioned somewhere earlier in the thread but i think it's actually a pretty impressive lifting strength feat for qingyi. while we don't know the average weight of a bangboo, earlier in qingyi's agent story, holly mentions that teddy (the shark bangboo) weighs 32 kilograms, or about 70 pounds. assuming this is the average weight of a bangboo, from my counting in the agent story, qingyi saved about 15 bangboo to bring out of the hollow, including eous, teddy, and a few others. some simple math tells us that she's carrying 480 kilos or 1,050 pounds. when you take into account the fact that she was at the very least carrying them for a while considering she had to take them as she traversed the hollow, and that she was suffering from severe ether corruption at the point where she left the hollow, it's honestly pretty impressive. i think it also matches her other shown strength feats pretty well, like when she stopped the out of control car in it's tracks, and later on in the chapter 2 interlude when she casually pushed a truck out of the way to capture a duck
qingyi is all done. she actually has a lot more abilities than i realized lol, probably the most wordy profile i've made thus far. her ability to swap/link her consciousness with bangboo is kind of confusing, i labeled it as limited possession because i wasn't really sure what else to label it as but if anyone thinks there's a closer ability that matches it feel free to let me know. also went back and fixed zhu yuan's profile as requested alongside tidying up some of the earlier profiles i made too. i'll work on seth and then that should be all of pubsec done
