I think Retrace could be using some limited Time Manip on top of the Restoration because it does trace its flow from A to B

Sacrifices should have normal Absorption, not Power Absorption. It doesn't seem like they can steal powers from people.
Masked was about to mention Temporal Restoration, but Naito-desu ninja'd them. Masked would also need to go back and refresh themselves on the how Retrace is described in-game.
Masked has also taken a break from editing profiles to make this awful calculation.
They haven't had the time to get Soldier 11's measurements or the proper distance from her to the Rebel Leader, so it's pretty scuffed.

i'm pretty sure it'd have to get approved in a CRT before it gets implemented to pages considering it'd basically be affecting every page that currently exists
since we have a bunch of new calcs for the verse i'm hoping those can get approved so that we can cover everything in a single big CRT

I'd suggest 1 CRT for a bunch of calcs, 1 CRT for your sandbox. It's a big sandbox, a lot to read. Just my suggestion since it will increase admin engagement if you cut the work up into digestible segments.

That depends on what you mean.
Ethereals can vary in strength.
Some are much weaker, and some are much stronger than usual, depending on the circumstances.
The Palicus themselves don't really have their own feats, so Masked can't say for certain whether that supports or goes against 8-C Anby.

i was admittedly just going off how they're classified on the wiki when it came to sorting the ethereals/sacrifices out but honestly i think it's kind of weird. i'm not sure why palicus isn't considered a sacrifice when we not only see her inject herself with a serum very similarly to bringer, but both her and girl A also seem to retain their consciousness while they're fighting against sanby and S11 which matches the general description of a sacrifice. by that same vein, i'm also not sure why the unknown corruption complex doesn't fall under the category of a sacrifice when we literally see it being referred to as a sacrifice on multiple occasions.
realistically speaking i don't think just "being conscious and having a sense of self" is the only categorization of being a sacrifice given that both the heretic jester and the covenant guardian don't seem to have a consciousness of their own. my best assumption would be that there are two sub-categories of sacrifices, those being "failed sacrifices" that are the result of humans trying to forcibly turn others into ethereals (heretic jester, covenant guardian, and the unknown corruption complex would likely fall into this category), and "complete sacrifices" that are people willingly turning themselves into ethereals via injection or other means (bringer, defiler/isolde, and i believe dina/twiggy/girl A should also be categorized in this regard as well).
the heretic jester, covenant guardian, and the UCC seem to at least be a step up from most standard boss ethereals, but i definitely wouldn't consider palicus or the ethereal dina turned into on the same level as a corrupted bringer or the defiler, so i'm not really sure how the power scaling goes on that. i honestly just think it's a mix of 1. us not knowing enough about sacrifices and how they really function and 2. the devs kinda just not doing a great job at explaining/clarifying more regarding sacrifices

Ic ic. Then with how incosistent some of these cases seem to be, i'd probably just play it safe? Like, Palicus and UCC for example seem quite inconsistent/weird (might not be the best words to describe it lol) so maybe just upscaling far above normal 9-A threats like the D.E.B. could work as a middleground, no? We could add a note about this and maybe just have a "possibly 8-C" rating?

Yuzuha could manage to 1v1 Miasmic Fiend for a prolonged period of time without dying. I’m also pretty sure they (Spook shack) nearly killed her during their first encounter, but she was immortal during the time so they were forced to run.

Was the serum Twiggy & Girl A took even a successful sacrifice serum or the, IIRC, failed one from Dina? Wasn’t that a part of the plot of s1 towards the end, like Landon’s serum wasn’t perfect I think?
When Dina used the serum, she just became the miniboss tier Ethereal, Tepes, which we see another in a group of other Ethereals in Orphie & Magus demo. To me it seemed Twiggy & Girl A became more Ethereal, like a Thanatos, than a successful Sacrifice given IIRC they didn’t speak during the battle and it was only in her final moments that Twiggy spoke and was seeing a vision of Anby, S11 and all their sisters, could be she regained some of her sense of self back in those final moments as opposed to she was in complete control as the Ethereal.

well i definitely wouldn't consider jester to be as strong as bringer or the defiler given the opponents they fought. and i don't think MF is a sacrifice, she's kind of just a weird personification of yixuan's memories of yijiang (she definitely should have been way more plot-relevant and could have served as a better excuse for yixuan being written out of the plot if she had to run around and deal with her but that's more of the writing team's fault)
ima be honest i can't recall off the top of my head, it's been a minute since i played through the S1 epilogue. but it would make sense at least. that still makes me wonder wtf heretic jester and covenant guardian are then, and why they're considered sacrifices if they seem closer to just regular ethereals than people like bringer and isolde

Tbf the easy win is attributed to Yixuan, so it would’ve probably been a greater struggle.
Still though, it’s funny Isolde did way better as Miasma Priest than the Defiler I believe.

defiler/isolde's scaling is genuinely so baffling to me. so isolde is mevorakh aka the miasma priest, and you're telling me she was able to perform decently against yixuan and the rest of yunkui summit but then proceeded to lose against obol squad??? in what should be a stronger form no less
this is deadass just a case of hoyo being ass at in-verse scaling

Isolde became the Miasma Priest through the Miasma they collected for the ritual in that part of the story, so I guess for that she prepared enough specifically for the purpose of fighting Yixuan.
Maybe for the Defiler form, she prepared on facing Orphie & Magus than facing Yixuan

Isolde is one of those characters who is hard to tier because while she wants to win, she's also against people that she would like to kill her.ok tbf she got jumped by all of obol squad + yixuan, it wasn't just orphie

Against Yunkui summit, she was fighting a tired and mentally-nerfed Yixuan, although Masked can't recall how much she recovered from absorbing the Miasma.
Against Obol Squad, she fought Yixuan and Obol Squad, among them Orphie and Magus.

Someone brought up here she lied about recovering but I didn’t see that when I looked through, IIRC I only saw her faking being weakened so the people would stop thanking them for saving the day
Which if the case, than Yixuan was mostly recovered by the point she fought Miasma Priest
