While Super forms do have a time limit, I think it’s likely influenced by how hard characters push themselves(since ring energy is used up faster in generations when boosting and Sonic struggles to keep his form after the fight in unleashed). It's pretty likely the form can last several minutes at full power and this was shown to be the case in unleashed where Sonic has a health bar instead of a ring counter during the final boss. The 50-second thing is generally just a baseline since collecting 50 rings and that being the minimum you run down from in most games is fairly consistent."

It sounds like he's talking about the rings here, which is what I was talking about.

What do you mean they're faster? I mean I get Kid's mindhax and soulhax but how is he faster?

That's like trying to argue the sonic twitter saying Kill La Kill is Shadows favorite anime means he'll know everything about Ryoko and how to beat her. Obviously, he beats her anyway, but point still stands that makes no sense to actually say he has Billions of rings on him.
 
I actually think it would have been kinda funny for the fight to open with Shadow fanboying over her before they start fighting, but I'm also not sure that's something you could pull off without portraying shadow as a joke unless you played it like might/might which isn't very in-character for them

They probably could have a brief "Wait is that-" similar to Lex's reaction to the Batmobile in Lex vs Iron Man.

That's a completely false equivalency, holy crap, versus debating doesn't allow prior knoweldge even if a character has it in the verse, Jotaro vs Kenshiro is a good example since HnK is canon as an anime in Jojo
