Glyph Creation Revision

As far as I currently understand, we need to update the glyph creation page to platform creation instead, and then remove links to it from all characters that do not use it in such a manner.

Is that an accurate assessment @Agnaa ?
 
Then it should be removed or replaced with a description or more appropriate powers link.
 
Well, what does it do?

Maybe just Creation if it doesn't do anything in particular.
 
Its usd as a channel for elemental attacks as well as a means of applying gravity manipulation to physical objects
 
Probably just stat amp and gravity manip then. We don't tend to give abilities for the particular visuals abilities use.
 
Magic and element/gravity manipulation aren't incompatible, several powers can be done via magic. If performing certain power shows a rune or glyph in mid air or in the palm of the hand then is simply aesthetic.
 
Looking at the profiles, there are some that just list the power without an explanation or reference whatsoever, like Nipponverse characters and Hero of Lore.
Or others, like people from BlazBlue only have "can create glyphs" and nothing else.
What do I do in this case? Just remove it?

Like, controlling their own attacks? Sounds like Homing Effect at best; also, again, simply manifesting runes and symbols is only aesthetic.

No, ordering a spell to do a specific tasks depending on the glyph used (like, by using specific glyphs one can order their attack to "trap" the opponent or "get larger")
 
In that case is just magic or at most you can combine it with something else.

The main point is that the current page will become platform creation or something, I'm not sure, but the word Glyph itself is misused and will be removed/changed.

Well, I can tell you two things:

Most of these don't have any explanation for their ability, thus making it hard to judge

The D&D pages are actual platform creation.

I work tonight, will try to go through more pages later, but like... most of what I see is unknown territory.

Is somebody willing to modify the Glyph Creation page to Platform Creation instead? I can obviously unlock it for editing and then rename it for you.
 
I have been thinking as I was making changes.
It is fine to remove the Glyph Creation ability and the related category on the profiles without any justification to speed up changes because most profiles don't have justification?

Zora Ideale could create platforms but his Glyph Creation was removed
