Honestly? The result I'm personally expecting is one of "Sakuya outhaxxes and has wincons Hit can't resist, but Hit takes the stat trinity and can blitz and oneshot". Not an exciting conclusion, but not every Death Battle needs to have one.

I think they'll put her at whatever Suika's black hole feat is at and a few billion times FTL from interstellar travel. Who knows, maybe we'll get a surprise like city level/1500x FTL Dio all over again, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I mean, one thing we're sure to get is a fun fight. Anything that involves time-bending shenanigans is sure to be a fun watch.

Oh, definitely. Sakuya brings a lot of animation potential with spatial hax and alternate timeline clone summoning.

I think the fight would work best if they don't land a single hit on one another until the very end, since most of the fight hinges on them being able to oneshot the other, whether that be via AP or hax.

It even works for their characters too, since Hit's whole schtick when going to kill someone is to do it in one single blow, something which he might've done to Jiren in the TOP had killing not been banned when he hit him square in the chest. As for Sakuya, well, I guess you could make any of her haxes her preferred choice to one-shot when/if she gets the chance. Is it her knives she has the most preference for? If so, a potential way she could end up winning, if they decide she's the victor, is by skewering Hit with a bunch of knives or something.

Also, Hit has good animation potential as well, given his own hax, which while not as good, gives him a fighting style completely unique from most other DB characters, who are basically just power-bricks in a sense.

Sakuya relies almost entirely on her knives in canon since, like most Touhou characters, we never actually see her use most of her hax. If she does somehow manage a win, I think it'd be interesting to have her age Hit to the point of near death, then cut him to pieces. It gets around the fact that they probably won't give her enough of an AP advantage to say she can kill him normally, and death via existence erasure or age manipulation is hardly exciting, so using her age manip as a means of weakening Hit is the best option I think.

also jesus christ i shouldve gone to sleep 2 hours ago what the hell is wrong with me

Bruh, I fell asleep at like four in the morning on my chair and woke up at eight. You're not the only one here with a messed up sleeping schedule, lol.

Also, yeah, that sounds like a cool and unique way to die. As for Hit, I have a feeling him beating Sakuya would be his ultimate combo from FighterZ, where he punches you all around your body during Time-Skip before landing one final blow right in the chest, sending out numerous rays of purple light, which in this case, could make Sakuya explode into pieces. Both are fairly savage ways to die, if I do say so myself. What do you think?

We talking about modern DB. Modern DB focus more on over the top combat. They most of the time ignores many charatcers abilities.

Thanos vs Darkseid, Naruto vs Ichigo, Ironman vs Batman etc. They didn't use many of their powers and forms instead, they focused on over the top combat.
The only one that isn't from earlier seasons is Ironman vs Batman, and in that one's case. They showed off Hellbat beforehand, and made it pretty clear they were going to just give Batman his strongest suit. Meanwhile, Tony practically busted out a fuckton of his armors to battle Batman alongside the Godbuster, so I really don't think that counts all that much.

DB is very unpredictable. Sometimes they focus on showcasing characters powers, and other time they don't.

Naruto and Ichigo are simple in there abilities especially Ichigo

Let's not act old era DB didn't have it issues on that outside a couple of fights

Besides you don't need 500 something abilities in a fight to be good
Its about how well you can make it fit within the fight and see what could fit without interrupting the flow and pacing

Also on as far as Sakuya top requested MU goes
Vs Homura-Stomps base Homura into the ground, Dies to Devil Homura if they give it to her
Vs Hit- Arguably stomps depending how DB Views Touhou cosmic feats and could arguably loses

I suggest Hyoga from Saint Seiya, he has better connections with Hit and while he can still go "haha speed and hax" it's still not as bad compared to Sakuya
Freeze time by freezing huh? Well that Hyoga actually defeated one minor time god so Hit vs Hyoga can be fun.

What about Saturn? That time god from Saint Seiya Omega?

Touhou Project scaling can be weird and wild.

Hoping we get Devil Homura vs Hunter "Hits harder than Superman" Zolomon and maybe he lacks enough feats that he becomes the first DC speedster to lose.
Now we only need to fill in as many close connections as possible to make it a reality.
And some bribes to Brandon Yates.

Run for the New Zealand immigration information seminar already

Nobody on their way to New Zealand?

Tin can fish time:
The whole song is Japan-ish style. Is that a hint for a win for Akuma?

(@KombatKid1 wouldn’t say that there is anything spoilers btw.)

Considering track is made by Brandon Yates and Suit Yourself proofs that when it's someone's theme at the end doesn't mean character will win.

So track really shouldn't spoil something.

Note: Stars of the universe, Hell over heaven, Final Breath, Dragons and Dumplings were made by Therewolf Media not Brandon, with keeping that in mind we can for now make a difference when someone's track spoils and someone's not

Final Breath is made by Brandon Yates. But I get your point.
