Death Battle Season Eight Discussion Thread (2) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Not trying to make the argument, but I think there are arguments for city block Jonathan from Tarkus, I forgot them. I feel like if DB believes these, Jonathan has a better chance outside of just out speeding and haxing Tanjiro

That was a situational thing and isn't really representative of normal Mordekai and Rigby, if we're including one off abilities then Mordekai and Rigby would easily take it with stuff like the power or with baby duck nonsense.
Also they were in space for like 2 months, I don't get the hype for this feat.

Gonna post about an MU I made a while back instead of a likely DB one cause I'm a weird nerd. I'm bringing back Kasen Ibaraki [Touhou Project] vs Fleetway Sonic the Hedgehog [Fleetway Comics]

Either of Kasen's major themes could be meshed well into a track I feel.




Fleetway Sonic, coming from comics, doesn't have a specific theme, but I feel Big Arms is a pretty good track to use for him. If not Big Arms, think a stylized, more fierce remix of Death Egg, like what Chaos from FNF did (considering said song is responsible for the character's recent return the relevance, a reference could be appropriate).




I really like the idea of a fusion between Kasen's ULiL theme and either Big Arms or Chaos, with alarm horns mixed into the full track to emphasize the danger and urgency of two god tier violent psychopaths being unleashed upon the world.

You misunderstood the feat. They weren't in space for 2 months. They went so fast that their time moved different relative to the rest of the world.

You know, science stuff.

Also they never officially lost those powers just saying

Mordecai and Rigby have way too many methods of getting the other hand. Being able to become invisible the the human eye is a pretty big advantage for example. We really need to clean up their pages on here.

Yeah, they're relative time was slowed to a halt compared to everyone else because of their speed. For them it was a few minutes for everyone else they took 2 months. You know Time dilation.
At best basing it off the time dailation and going off a shitty calculator I found on google, it'd be Relativistic+ at worst you'd only need to be around supersonic (some quick and probably wrong math would put them around 1458 m/s) to get from Earth to Jupiter in such a time frame.

But even with rando abilities (no matter how neat they are) Dio speed blitzing is honestly what matters in the debate.

While I am not much vibed by Erza Scarlet vs Saber (Fate/stay night), I honestly see Boa Hancock vs Rider (Fate/stay night) coming to Death Battle - partly by virtue of having a Community Death Battle before.

And by Death Battle logic Erza and Boa may actually win.



Ronald McDonald vs Colonel Sanders or The King (Burger King) are both well requested sure. Oh McDonald's, KFC and Burger King are pretty well known worldwide (with McDonald's and KFC being the top two).

Except... Touhou Project seems obscure in the West and Fleetway Comics seems obscure in the East. And Kasen Ibaraki is just way behind the more known characters like Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Sakuya Izayoi, Cirno, Remilia Scarlet, Flandre Scarlet, Youmu Konpaku, Yuyuko Saigyouji, Yukari Yakumo, Keine Kamishirasawa, Reisen Udonge Inaba, Kaguya Houraisan, Eirin Yakogoro, Fujiwara no Mokou, Satori Komeiji, Koishi Komeiji, Rin Kaenbyou, Utsuho Reiuji...
