Expanding the References for Common Feats page

I would put it above Falling from Great Heights as a new section.

My apologies for any previous misunderstanding.
Someone else has decided to handle this, then?
My to-do list has gotten quite long.

Alright, here is what I did (you can call this a report of my actions)
  • I add it under impact feats (precisely under “if slammed into a wall category”) and formatted it as sub heading 1
  • I changed the description of the introduction to formal language.
  • In order to improve readability for both new visitors and existing members, I have made several stylistic changes to the formatting. These changes are intended to enhance the overall clarity and accessibility of the information presented.
  • I changed descriptions of Japan and US to fit the formal writing style of the page
Unless there are any concerns with my actions, feel free to comment down. I am unsure yet if I placed in a correct category. I will change its place, if someone gives me the answer for that.

History of my actions are here:

Thanks a lot for helping out, Dread. 🙏🙏🙏🙂🙂🙂

And thank you to you as well, JaRB and Dalesean027. 🙏🙏🙏

I do not remember anybody else volunteering for reorganising the structure of the entire page so it turns considerably easier to navigate.

In my opinion, the current page would be more easily navigable if it were divided into four separate pages:
  1. Impact Feats through Potential Energy/Lifting Feats
  2. Object Destruction Feats
  3. Star Feats through Speed Feats
  4. Miscellaneous Feats
In addition to this structural change, it may also be beneficial to improve the formatting of the page to increase its overall clarity and aesthetic appeal. As it stands, the page is quite lengthy and may be overwhelming to scroll through. These suggestions are intended to enhance the usability of the page for readers and our members.

I think it looks better with the way it looks, cause the feats are easier to find when it's still in this formula

What do the other staff and knowledgeable members here think about Dread's latest suggestion here?

Before anything, I think the biggest improvement would just be modifying it to always use correct significant figures.

The excess of digits isn't only scientifically improper, but makes the page much harder to read and easily comprehend.

Having each calculation be collapsible somehow would also be a massive improvement.

I would say that the final tally is where the rounding should and must be performed (it is just me).

But having each calculation being able to collapse will be a good start and will be good for navigation too.

I still disagree with separating the categories from the main RFCF page into different other separate pages, as it makes them even more annoying and harder to find.

It can be proper practice to carry the significant digits through each sub-calculation, based on the lowest accuracy you have each time.

So, if you start with three pieces of knowledge: 35 feet wide, 394.293 feet tall, 295.238 feet deep.
Then, you get area: 35*394.293*295.238 = 4074359.68569sqft
However, with proper significant digits, your answer is 4,100,000 sqft.
If you want to use this calculation for another calculation, such as getting mass from density, you could use the 4,100,000sqft number in that calculation, since your initial margin for error can be included in the new calculation.

While there is debate in the scientific community over this, I tend to be on the side of less being more, since overgeneralizing for errors is more honest than undergeneralizing, especially given what we do is already highly speculative.
That said, I think rounding the final answer, at least, should be standard at the bare minimum. The massive long numbers with many decimal places are hard to read, and the specificity is also meaningless when we're making massive speculations regardless.

I also think that collapsible calculation sections seems like a good idea, but it would likely take quite a bit of effort to apply properly.

If nothing else we should at least try to make the calculations into a table, as was the original plan. It would make life a lot easier.

Of course, I suck at making tables so uh...

I much prefer if the sections turn collapsible.
I have no issue with it, I was just saying that if the collapsible sections aren't possible we should at the very least make them into a table. Jasonsith had plans for it for a long time but then IRL problems caught him off-guard and well, here we are.

Turn all of the separate feats/sections in the following page collapsible, if I haven't misunderstood.

What do you want me to do exactly?

@Shadowbokunohero @Crazylatin77 @Jvando @Zaratthustra @Just_a_Random_Butler @ElixirBlue @Tllmbrg @Nehz_XZX @Dereck03

I think that seems generic enough to qualify.
