THE Pizza Tower Thread (Fecal Funny edition)

I think The Vigilante is the hardest due to changing your moveset. I might be thinking of P ranks though.
Yeah he was a little hard to learn at first but I got em eventually, just have to learn the pattern.
See here.
Noid took some time to win against, let alone P Rank.
I'm still on Fake Peppino, but he's not terribly hard, I could maybe P Rank him after a few tries.

Fake Peppino is the second easiest to P rank in my opinion. Pepperman, the first boss, is the easiest.
He's kind of hard, but I B ranked.
However that's not at all impressive imo, I wanna at least S rank.
I'll come back to him later.

Just curious shmooply, which boss was the hardest for you to fight against? Or were they all pretty easy?
Dunno, didn't fight all the bosses yet. I've spent my time just P-Ranking everything on my first save slot before actually moving on to the next world. Only reason I'm writing this is because I just got done P-Ranking Fake Peppino in the same hour I unlocked his fight. I can see why people consider him the hardest boss, but to me he was pretty easy, and I think Pizzaface will be easy too once I reach him.

As for who I struggled with the most, Vigilante was suprisingly the one I had the most trouble with.

Why did you have trouble with vigilante? What was difficult about him?

Mostly me being greedy and trying to kill him with the big bullets instead of the normal ones, which would usually cost me a life point. As for probably his worst move, it's the one where you have to try to avoid the mole rocket thing and the ghost of his grandpa at the same time. The parry window for the ghost is ass.

I have once again noticed something: Pillar John's tier still needs to be changed. It is marked as "likely High 8-C" due to him beating Pizzahead. However, Pizzahead's durability is Building level, which would only qualify John for an 8-C tiering. We can't really scale him higher due to one-shotting, as we don't actually know how much damage that did. The conservative estimate is what calc group people prefer, so I think he should be 8-C.
The Powerscaling page also makes mention of logic like this.
"In this case, due to the massive broadness of tiers, even if there is a clear power gap between two characters, it typically cannot be a big enough gap that they're tiers apart if they can have an actual fight with someone. As, for example, a Small Planet level would never be able to harm or do anything at all to a Large Planet level, as the gap between the two tiers is nearly 30 million times."

If John was a full tier higher than Pizzahead, it would be weird since he should've been beaten by him at some point in the past to become Pillar John.

Tbf Pizzahead used magic iirc.

Pizzaface's Dimensional Travel,
Pizzaface does indeed appear out of nowhere in the secret rooms, so this seems fine.
Peppino causing a lunar eclipse,
I feel like Peppino causing an eclipse would be an example of Reality Warping similar to Pizzahead's. I don't know what's actually in the CRT though.
Regen upgrades for everyone due to the eyeball and bone things,
I'm assuming "everyone" means all the bosses shown to have eyeballs and bones coming out of them and being fine later. I don't think The Vigilante and Pepperman have this.
Pizzahead's magic
As for Pizzahead's magic, what is being used to imply he has magic? I had heard before that Pillar John's pillar status was caused by a curse, not magic. I am distinguishing the two as curses are not exclusively caused by magic.

@Arceus0x
I realized I didn't ping you about any of my suggested changes to The Vigilante and Pillar John, so here they are.

The Vigilante
Should have Superhuman Physical Characteristics.
Could have Hammerspace/Dimensional Storage due to pulling items out of nowhere and also seemingly storing them.

Pillar John
Should be 8-C and not High 8-C since we cannot assume a higher tier due to one-shotting. The Powerscaling page on the wiki even mentions this.

Should we count characters randomly being vulnerable after an attack as PIS or a game mechanic or something?
I mean, bar the Noise, as he's immature enough to taunt in character.

It's more like they are vulnerable really
PepperMan hits a wall and bounces off, becoming completely unable to guard himself, the same thing on the air, and he's at the vulnerable stage when he sees a statue is just a thing he has cuz of his art appreciation
The Vigilante has none of these so don't count
The Noise is a little prick that hates Peppino so ofc he would taunts him
You have to hit Fake Peppino twice to make him vulnerable
Pizzaface needs to be hit with a throwing attack to be vulnerable so not really anything to be said
And Pizza Head doesn't even take his fight seriously so much he stops just to laugh at you so it's just his problem really

Not really Game Mechanics nor PIS

While trying to P Rank Pepperman, found out that he does indeed have the eyeballs and bones coming out of him thing
Still haven't checked Vigilante tho

Tbf, Pizzahead was weakened from getting pieced up by Enraged Peppino.

You mention Pillar John onesh- Ohhh you mean us one shotting him, not him one shotting Pizzahead.
No, I was referring to Pizzahead being one-shot. I was specifically referring to how if Pizzahead was 8-C durability and Pillar John damages him, he should be 8-C, not High 8-C.

In the other post of mine you quoted, I do not directly mention Pizzahead, which is why I was confused.

Regen upgrades for everyone due to the eyeball and bone things
The "bones/eyes falling out" thing is obviously just a bizarre effect created from Peppino's Toon Force. It doesn't make sense to treat it as a regeneration feat, especially when Vigilante, cheese slimes, and Fake Peppino, who have been established as boneless, also have bones pop out of them when Peppino hurts them.

And also Pizzahead who doesn't have that type of physiology either ( unless it's Pizzaface getting rattled inside)

Gentlemen...
It's finally over.

Pizzahead/face has the most obnoxious rng ever
And those little yellow star spitters can jump off a cliff into a pile of spikes on fire.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's actually impossible for Vigi and Cheeseslimes to drop bones, which definitely tells me that they put some thought into it.
Also, nothing indicates Fake Peppino is boneless? Lad is supposed to be clone of Peppino

Also congrats on da P ranks

They do drop them.

The tasks you get for defeating a boss without taking any damage actually shows us the anatomical structure (or, rather, the skull) of the bosses.
Pepperman and Noise have skulls.

Vigilante, being already small and a cheese slime, shows us his entire body, and there's unsurprisingly no bones to be found.

As for Fake Peppino...
BaeSn1p.png

Nothing.

Fake Peppino having no skeleton is further supported by cut content where he was supposed to be an enemy made completely out of cheese, same as the Peppino clones. Speaking of, the Peppino Clones (who were definitely made the same way as Fake Peppino) also lack any bones whatsoever, as their death animation where they melt shows.

Yup, I was just double checking the third phase to confirm that Vigi doesn't drop bones, but it just seems like Peppino's rage beatdown is the thing that doesn't drop bones, since throwing Gustavo at him drops bones

Sorry for the misinformation.

We could give Noise "Mid-Low" regen due to regaining a tooth, though it'd be overtime regen, at least until Noise becomes playable

Nothing.
These would also give Vigi and Fake Peppino resistance to Bone Manipulation due to lacking a skeletal system, which is neat
