One-Punch Man: Orochi and Psykos-Orochi Changes

Orochi and Psykos-Orochi use unofficial scanslations for their absorption. The officials are more accurate, as they mention soul/spirit, just like the raws.

What this changes:
Grants Orochi Soul Deconstruction through Absorption
Grants Psykos-Orochi Absorption (Biological, Soul, & Energy)

Orochi:
Regeneration (High-Mid), Mind Corruption, and Soul Destruction through Absorption (Biological & Energy; Able to regenerate from being shattered into pieces by absorbing the bodies of other beings, which also destroys the target’s soul and corrupts their mind. Instinctively burrowed through the Earth to draw energy from the planet itself to increase his power. Absorbed energy directly from the Earth's core to charge his Gaia Cannon)

Psykos-Orochi:
Statistics Amplification through Absorption (Biological, Soul, & Energy; Psykos-Orochi can absorb energy-based attacks as well as living beings and their souls through her "flesh roots" in order to make herself more powerful)

I'm not sure about this being an energy absorption feat. Psykos appears to be damaged / feel pain from the attack on the 2nd page and it looks like Orochi just counters by shapeshifting a giant mouth at the spot where he's hit to fire back an energy blast of his own.

Orochi's fires in that form were visually different IIRC. Also the energy is stocked in the below of the ship. This page was deleted but showed the progress in the below better.

It's still the same thing but didn't make it more of getting exploded style.

Completely straightforward. Agreed.
Now that i think about it this could also be argued that monsterization affects on a spiritual/mental/biological level, since we've seen CE nearly turn into a monster from having his mind tampered by Phoenix man as well as Orochi's cells being able to force monsterization.

Woah, woah, why would this be deconstruction? As far as I can tell, I don't see anything that qualifies for it.

Also, shouldn't Psykos-Orochi have everything Orochi has, but more powerful?

I am no expert, nor am I even a John Werry, but I feel as though context here is incredibly important. The word seishin, though commonly used in reference to the human mind or the psyche, can be translated as anything from "soul" or "spirit" to "will"; the word has a vast array of meanings and applications. In this context, though, Orochi's expressed ultimate goal here is to merge seishin into a shinentai (思念体)—a.k.a., a "body made up of thought" or "thought-form", with shinen being composed of the kanji for "think" and "thought; or idea; or sense".

No, what Psykos-Orochi claimed her goal to be was to merge the spirits of those she absorbed so that they can become one entity - controlled by one mind. It's the same thing Psykos did to Orochi but just to a much grander scale.

Soul = Mind isn't accepted on OPM (At least nobody made a thread about it)

思念体 Thoughtbody is like an "existence with no physical body". not just referring to "made of thought" (based on what i know)

We have other examples in the series, Phoenix Man and Child Emperor's spirits, which are stated to be thoughtbodies.

Also we have a monster with similar situation to what Psykorochi was trying to achieve. Evil eye, after being implanted the eyes of the dead monsters, he could hear them, hear their residual thoughts, and could tell their current feelings, that they were enjoying the situation right now. And he's psychic ability got stronger thanks to that as well, same with Psykorochi. Which is a case of multiple selves for type 1 mind and type 2 soul.

Also it reached 24 hours, no?
