Reishi means spiritual particles. Oxygen is comprised of particles. Oxygen comprised of spirit particles, like everything in spiritual worlds, and is thus a form of reishi. Just like the buildings in Seireitei have reishi wood, etc.

I mean garganta quite literally has nothing to produce oxygen. Saying they breath spiritual oxygen is just super random assumption and there's no statement to indicate that either. May be their breathing process is different.

Funnily enough breathing is mentioned during the scene in the manga but not in the anime. So yeah since anime takes precedence the effects are purely due to Kenpachi's body being boiled due to being in the vacuum of space.

First of all, I never claimed they didn’t have any respiratory system or don't need to breath, when it's explicitly stated multiple times they need to breath. It's just I am against the idea that spiritual oxygen exists (may you can use that for better explanation to non bleach reader at most). Since I do think they breath I am gonna ignore these bs idea of yoirs about fire manipulation and other abilities since these are irrelevant.

If you are going to accept it constitutes one of the most prominent substance needed for survival , you have to accept the most prominent ways of production of the same substant, which in turns debunks your claim. You are talking about double standard while showing it in the same comment is just hilarious.

It never amazes me when people try to interpret things a way to fit their agendas while ignoring common sense and use the word wank to hide that fact. But it does amaze me when someone complain about double standards and other stuffs, but show it on their own lines.

Ehh idk about space time not existing, I believe this needs a very liberal interpretation to reach with the limited information we have right now.

Idk if I’d agree that Adyneus was manipulating the literal concepts of life and death, but rather it’s that there was no mechanism for rebirth and recycling of souls. Hence the stagnation, they remained in the same state. Like he’s not manipulating life and death itself, but by creating a cycle for rebirth of souls, he provided a mechanism that facilitated living beings to die, pass on, and be reborn as souls, rinse and repeat.

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I read CFYOW. Maybe if there’s a statement that’s pretty clear in interpretation that Adyneus manipulated the literal concepts of life and death which gave rise to a transmigratory cycle, as opposed to the inverse (like I stated above) then yeah. But rn I’d lean to disagreeing, based on my understanding of CM1.
