Deku can break out of the shields but he’ll be a struggle if he only uses fa Jin 5x. His shield is still comparable to this but overall weaker. Btw I wouldn’t count out Steven doing this either if he got the chance. Hell, he killed and shattered Jasper in this state without thinking.

using this clip is kind of not good since thats not actually Steven, rather the pure form his gem took when they were separated. just as the profile states (Except those unique to Pink Steven) so Pink State is not Pink Steven

Deku doesn't injure himself with Gear Shift unless you're referring to the fact it causes him to not have enough oxygen to properly function which even then it states "he tries to limit it to 5 minutes but he was shown fighting Shigaraki for more than 20 minutes while relying on Gearshift to keep up". Deku is someone whos incredibly use to pushing his body to the absolute limits to achieve his goal esp given how much pure stamina he has.

GearShift and Fa Jin were putting massive holes in someone with much greater regen than Steven, hell if Steven gets hit by any of those attacks he'll likely lose a limb or end up just like Shigaraki did with a massive hole in him.

cause they don't really change anything, Steven's never unironically used Rose's sword before iirc esp since that was Connie's weapon, Watermelon Steven gets literally blown away as soon as the fight starts, and the Cheeseburger backpack and hotdog duffel bag sound cosmetic as hell (prolly something with the game i've never seen).

The clip is usable. I already said multiple times that Pink State is comparable to Pink Steven but overall weaker that’s why he’s scaled to the cluster and multi continental in the first place. He wouldn’t be able to no sell his attacks but he’ll still be able to block fa Jin x5 with a struggle.

Yeah I’m referring to how Gearshift kills his cells and makes him struggle to breathe really hard with the blowback of gearshift progressively getting more and more intense up to going beyond 20 minutes where it’s straight up unstable because of how deadly the blowback is. Way worse than his 100% injuries from previous season.

Steven will die if he doesn’t mitigate the force of Deku’s one shot. The issue is that if he does use his shield, Deku’s one shot will weaken so it doesn’t cook him. This is like how Hawks with town level durability tanked a multi continental attack from prime rewind AFO. Dark shadow absorbed most of the force.

Cheeseburger backpack and hotdog duffel bag solos Deku fr. This isn’t even from the game btw. He just carries them around in the early seasons lmao.

Here’s what I’m confused though. I have zero idea why his standard equipment lists the DIAMOND WARSHIP MECH like he uses it often. He’s only like flown it once.

ehhhh comparable physically but have very different mindsets given one is a pure gem and the other still has Steven's mindset and weaknesses

Deku was already far beyond 20 minutes for an unknown period of time against Shigaraki, of course we see the blowback but it kinda goes to show how far Deku is able ot push his body in those instances, no matter what it may be, bones broken, struggling to breathe, getting thrown around by Shigaraki, or even on his last legs of OFA, Deku doesn't give in and hell doesn't fear death if it means coming out on top.

Steven would have to block multiple attacks each of which could have massive AOE to them esp if Deku is in his face and I also realized that Deku will have the speed advantage no matter what given he can slow Steven down if he touches him and puts him into Low Gear which is a speed reduction "Can make the target's speed slow down to a crawl with Low Gear" also kind of ignoring the fact Steven already starts in his pink state which means hes at his pink state speed so Deku is brought down to that will retaining his amp

Yeah that’s one thing but the shield clip would still be applicable since locked in/bloodlust Steven’s shields don’t get weakened

Yeah but at that point he’ll just stop using gear shift as his standard tactic states because at that point it’ll be too dangerous to use that it would probably kill him upon reactivating again. Using it for longer periods would also create openings as his cells are dying.

That wouldn’t be an issue since he can create big shield walls, a bubble shield, and an omni directional shield like against white diamond. You have a point with the speed reduction but that’s if he ends up hitting Steven and not his shield. The same reason why landing blackwhip would still be annoying. Also the super speed state isn’t his pink state speed amp. A knowledgeable SU supporter confirmed that it was an ability and that his profile is just poopoo at explaining stuff.
