People get annoyed at Ecco being used since it’s like a meme, but I think he’s just a fun character to use here.

Steve has all optimal equipment (including the maximum amount of totems of undying he can carry) plus two Minecraft dolphins and a set up conduit.
Ecco is 8-B and speed is equalized.
Fight starts in an ocean monument within a few meters of a beach.

Flipper (slightly downscales from 16 tons): 0
Jack Black (upscales from 38 tons): 4

I knew this would happen. Lets see here.
Both can nosell hits very easily with Steve no-selling hits much more easier. Both can heal, etc.
However there is a few things to note about Steve. His respawning via beds (although he would be effectively incapped), his totem of undyings, attack deflection, and thorns enchantment.
I'm going with Steve here. Steve has VERY easy ways to counter range spam including shields, deflection, and thorns enchantment to the point where he would deflect soundwaves, protect himself with various obsidian blocks, not die, and just deflect attacks along with having superior regen.
Even if you remove the Totems of Undying from him, steve can pretty handily take this.

Shields don’t block sound, the warden’s sound waves go straight through, plus the sound is faster than Steve due to being underwater (sound speeds up in water)

Everything else is valid but to take into account, Steve’s regen is super heavily stamina based as in he needs to be at absolute peak stamina and healing drains the stamina super quickly.

Eh still. He can have the thorns enchantment and protection chicken and just straight up face tank.

Yeah protection means he takes 75% less damage which is huge, but I think Ecco can easily heal off thorns. Does thorns take in account Steve’s defense or is it reflected before that is calculated?

If steve is damaged with thorns, it has a 45% chance to deal 1-4 hearts of damage. Since Steve has a 2x advantage, that would be huge.
And you do realize that Steve is maxxed out.. right? Steve would have fully maxxed out netherite pieces of armor with protection chicken armor with splash healing potions.

And don't even get me started on an Impaling Trident which deals more damage to aquatic enemies (such as Ecco) or his various arrow enchantments or anything for that matter.

It ignores protection armor so it wouldn't be 8-C.

But if it deals only 4 hearts max won’t that be an 8-C damage transfer that ignores armor. Due to how we rate damage to ap on this site for Minecraft currently.

I forgot about it when I made this thread, but he drops all of his stuff and becomes 9-A. With that stuff being able to be destroyed, so if that happens he gets incapped for all intents and purposes
