In this thread it was agreed that Thanos’ durability and all who scale to it should be 5-C via upscaling Rocket’s Hadron Enforcer which can destroy entire moons. Whilst I agree that Rocket Hadron Enforcer can destroy moons that doesn’t necessarily make him Moon level because A) the Guardians films are set in Andromeda so Rocket would have little experience, if any, with Earth’s moon before Infinity War (Rocket mentions this fact in Guardians 1 which is set years before Infinity War) and B) Earth’s moon is the fifth largest moon in the solar system, and the largest in proportion to its host planet and in the MCU there exist even smaller moons than in our real world (such as Thor 4’s Moon of Shame). Using this blog as a guide we can see that the currently accepted value of Eson’s power stone attack (646.57085 Petatons) is enough to destroy 12 of the 19 moons listed. This isn’t even accounting for the numerous smaller moons in our solar system either. Additionally, the aforementioned Moon Of Shame only has a GBE of 940.6763384321223712 Kilotons of TNT (or High 7-C+) and even high balling it only gets it to Low 7-B+ levels of GBE. So my proposal is to downgrade all the 5-C characters to 646.57085 Petatons (High 6-A) based on Thanos’ gauntlet surge upscaling from Eson’s planet wipe and to change Rocket’s hadron enforcer from 5-C to far higher.

Here’s the list of characters affected

Yeah, if it was a single "Moon" in a setting, even if it wasn't Earth's, you might assume it to be like ours, but GotG is a spacefaring story so they'd definitely be aware that smaller moons exist and view those as the average.

Isn't the default assumption that, unless there's evidence to the contrary, "moons" are generally understood to be comparable to Earth's Moon?

Those are for Earth like planets with comparable weather patterns or gravity.
Yeah, but I mean… in fiction, shouldn’t it be reasonably assumed that when they say “moon,” they’re referring to something comparable to Earth’s Moon because of the fact it’s the most familiar example for most audiences? 🙏

That said, I can understand OP's point and why this might warrant a downgrade.

If the character was a human from Earth, sure. An alien saying that has no standard.
