Hi. I'm City of Heroes. Here, we have bullshit MMO stuff from an MMO that up and died in like 2012What?, dodge timestop with pure skill?, where?
Hi. I'm John EBG and I got victimized by person who does said feat. What?, dodge timestop with pure skill?, where?
Actually Statesman can both do it himself and hilariously big upscales from people who do it.Hi. I'm John EBG and I got victimized by person who does said feat.
This means that the fist of water is essentially useless, since any variations of it could never hope to reach his level of potency
- Attack Reflection, and Damage Reduction (Can make his opponent attacks pass through him, turning the force of their own attacks back on them. Can redirect the damage from his opponents attacks from himself to the ground)
- Pressure Points (Can strike pressure points robbing his opponents of their freedom
- Pressure Points (Can hit people in their vitals, knocking them out)
Yorna: “Your words make my fox ears itch―― So, how about this instead?”
Olbart: “Oh.”
Olbart avoided the showy attack, but right after, Yorna struck the roof with her heel. Then, one - by - one, the roof tiles rose and began to float, revolving around in midair.
Drawing an extremely large spiral across the entirety of the roof, the circumference of the whirlpool narrowed towards Olbart at the center―― Just like a tornado. And then――
Yorna: “Why don’t you show me some of your shinobi techniques on how to escape from a place without an opening?”
Before she finished speaking, Yorna’s outstretched hand squeezed tight.
Immediately after, the whirling tornado of tiles engulfed Olbart and compressed him into the center in one fell swoop. The tiles collided with each other relentlessly, and the sound of a fierce, all - crushing impact rang out.
Even a somewhat robust human body would not be able to withstand the pressure at the nexus of this fierce destruction. It would be crushed, with no chance of survival.
Louis: “Au…”
Witnessing the same thing, Louis too gasped at its exuberant destructive power.
In response to Louis’s reaction, Yorna quietly replied, “I’m sorry to have frightened you”,
Yorna: “I started all this on a whim of mine. I feel terrible about the way you look…”
Olbart: “Oioi, don’t’cha go thinkin’ we’re done here. I’m tellin’ ya, the fact that I’m still alive even tho’ I’m a geezer means it’ll take a lot ta kill me, ya know?”
Yorna: “――Hk.”
Just as Yorna was about to turn around, she heard that comment and her fox ears perked up. Taking a look towards it, the voice she’d heard had come from a whirlpool of roof tiles that had gathered at their center, crushing it―― No, it had come from behind it.
Accompanied by a rattle, the voice that came from among the debris of the broken roof tiles was that of Olbart, unharmed despite the fact he’d been at the core of the vortex of devastation.
The monstrous old man waved his hand, smiling with a malicious look on his face,
Olbart: “Yo. And that’s the shinobi ’s technique of escapin’ when there’s no openin’. Ya satisfied?”- Arc 7, Chapter 53
who are you voting forAlright fine, lets do this..
Firstly, Reinhard is already vastly superior to characters who can do this, again to the point where even if they trained and honed all of their techniques for an eternity they could never hope to reach his level.
This means that the fist of water is essentially useless, since any variations of it could never hope to reach his level of potency
For pressure points he is superior to Olbart, Roswaal, and others too since Rem could do so even
Now for the rain dodge non believers, I am sorry if you feel like it isnt a real "skill" feat. If you dont want it to be called skill, then be my guest, i dont really care either way and its just what its called in the story itself. Reid can cut concepts and space-time with skill, obviously we dont index it as such. However, you also cant really ignore the fact that ReZero characters can dodge impossible to dodge attacks when its smth that has happened so many times that its consistent now.
Here is a non transcendent dodging an attack with no opening btw
Now as @Zabazab mentioned, the divine protection of first sight and second sight essentially make it impossible for any of Garou's martial arts to be able to take out Reinhard. He is a master of all techniques in his own verse which covers almost all of the martial arts Garou has, in the end punches and kicks are just that, punches and kicks. This is a hax and just because you dislike it does not make it so that Garou would somehow be able to overcome it.
Reinhard also doesnt necessarily need to destroy buildings, anything he gets his hands on is equivalent to a weapon for him. Spatial cutting wouldnt be that hard to perform because of this
the rest i will cover later on

NGL this is one of the most basic arguments I've seen put together for skill feats.Alright fine, lets do this..

I mean like substitution jutsu is better than the feat you presented
I'm seeing nothing but wank for Reinhard. He scales infinitely above this guy so you can never reach him.Alright fine, lets do this..

Funny, none of what I said is wank, all of this in the storyI'm seeing nothing but wank for Reinhard. He scales infinitely above this guy so you can never reach him.
Okay, what other abilities are part of it then?Anyways I want to correct something. Fist of water is not attack reflection or damage reflection. Those are some of the abilities derived from it. So saying Reinhard is infinitely above someone who can do those abilities is absolutely irrelevant.
There isn't a need to understand the flow of all energies to do this "basic shit" as you put it, the application matters and it's essentially the same.Fist of water is about understanding each and every flow in the universe at it's peak, so unless you got someone with the skill to understand, match and control the flow of all energies in the universe in rezero, and then Reinhard still has some wank statement of "they will never reach his level" please!!! Bring some actual good skill feats

Reinhard's intelligence is said to be normal, but his intuition is said to be incredible, so that even while taking a test he’ll get full marks from answering normally, even if it’s not multiple choice.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Reinhard_Q&A_2/2-10"><span>[</span>10<span>]</span></a> In strategic games like chess he is still the strongest, not because he is smart, but because he knows where to to put his piece.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...mdesktop#cite_note-Reinhard's_Birthday_2019-3"><span>[</span>3<span>]</span></a> Even in contests of luck, he will win because he knows the right answer.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...mdesktop#cite_note-Reinhard's_Birthday_2019-3"><span>[</span>3<span>]</span></a> His natural talent is such that he can quickly learn things he was previously inexperienced in,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...desktop#cite_note-Reinhard's_Birthday_2018-28"><span>[</span>28<span>]</span></a> and he is mentioned to be perfect in the field of music,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...mdesktop#cite_note-Reinhard's_Birthday_2019-3"><span>[</span>3<span>]</span></a> and even if he wasn't a Divine Protection would make him so. Reinhard's swordsmanship is unparalleled even when compared to past Sword Saints such as Theresia van Astrea, who stood at the very pinnacle of swordsmanship,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Ex_Novel_2,_Stanza_7-103"><span>[</span>96<span>]</span></a> the sheer might of her overwhelming, natural-born genius utterly crushing the time and effort of anyone else.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_5-6"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> The Divine Protection of the Sword Saint bestowed her flawless battle instincts, regardless of whether it's a holy sword, enchanted sword, or even the Dragon Sword itself, no steel would not lay bare in her hands,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_5-6"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> and she was even blessed with intimate knowledge of not only swords, but any weapon whatsoever so long as it was connected to battle.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...n=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_5,_Chapter_73-7"><span>[</span>7<span>]</span></a> To even the skilled soldiers of the Kingdom, all Theresia saw in their fighting styles were imperfections—<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...n=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_5,_Chapter_73-7"><span>[</span>7<span>]</span></a> when the soldiers’ mistakes were pointed out to them by her one by one, they would eventually correct themselves. However, from Theresia’s perspective, although the way of fixing those faults may be correct, it was never enough. Without even turning around, she caught Wilhelm's silent surprise attack which came from behind her<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Ex_Novel_2,_Stanza_7-103"><span>[</span>96<span>]</span></a> between 2 fingers. She thought Wilhelm's swordsmanship was lacking<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_5-6"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> in his youth, despite him already being the most skilled swordsman in the Kingdom. Wilhelm himself thought Theresia's swordsmanship could never be reached<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_7,_Chapter_5-104"><span>[</span>97<span>]</span></a> in a lifetime or eternity. Merely witnessing Theresia in battle made Wilhelm despair for his own ability as a swordsman,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Ex_Novel_2,_Stanza_7-103"><span>[</span>96<span>]</span></a> to the point that he was confused as to how anyone could worry for her safety even as she fought a thousand soldiers by herself. While she was unarmed, a light dancing step from Theresia completely nullified the ultimate demonstration of Wilhelm's life as a swordsman,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Ex_Novel_2,_Stanza_7-103"><span>[</span>96<span>]</span></a> as if he were merely a little boy.
Wilhelm van Astrea said that despite having been able to surpass Theresia in swordsmanship in the past, Reinhard's skill is not even remotely in the realm of achievable, in a different world<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_4-9"><span>[</span>9<span>]</span></a> from everyone and everything else. Wilhelm was already the greatest swordsman of the domain<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_7,_Chapter_5-104"><span>[</span>97<span>]</span></a> at just 14 years old, his skill having already surpassed 15 normal youths combined<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_7,_Chapter_5-104"><span>[</span>97<span>]</span></a> before he had ever seen live combat. To prove his skills, Wilhelm fought in an arena against 40 of the most elite warriors the kingdom had to offer,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...op#cite_note-Ex_Novel_3,_Their_Later_Tale-105"><span>[</span>98<span>]</span></a> some being his own extraordinary comrades,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...op#cite_note-Ex_Novel_3,_Their_Later_Tale-105"><span>[</span>98<span>]</span></a> and defeated every last one of them with hardly a scratch.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...op#cite_note-Ex_Novel_3,_Their_Later_Tale-105"><span>[</span>98<span>]</span></a> Wilhelm's skills matched evenly against Kurgan's, the strongest warrior from the southern empire, depite Kurgan having a superior build, four weapons, and eight arms.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...l_3,_The_Silver_Flower_Dance_of_Picoutatte-42"><span>[</span>42<span>]</span></a> He countered Kurgan's simultaneous attacks from multiple directions, despite being airborne,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...l_3,_The_Silver_Flower_Dance_of_Picoutatte-42"><span>[</span>42<span>]</span></a> by allowong his bones to be broken in exchange for slicing off one of Kurgan's arms. In their rematch, Wilhelm made use of the cityscape to lay down his offensive, his agility allowing him to evade attacks that would kill him if they snagged just a shred of clothing.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ite_note-Sword_Demon_Battle_Ballad,_Act_8-106"><span>[</span>99<span>]</span></a> With his monstrous skill, Wilhelm struck the same spot of Kurgan's cleavers repeatedly as their blades clashed, finally shattering a weapon.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ite_note-Sword_Demon_Battle_Ballad,_Act_8-106"><span>[</span>99<span>]</span></a>
After the battle for the Watergate City of Priestella, Wilhelm honed his swordsmanship and regained skills comparable to what he was capable of in his prime,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a> in the age when he had been the Kingdom's sword. Wilhelm has a terrifying way of fighting, possessed of both an exceptionally keen sense of combat and powers of observation, as well as the unwavering determination to risk his life<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a> based on what he saw with his own eyes. When the floor that he had kicked away rebounded towards him with twice the speed and force, he voided all of its power by stabbing the dead center of its mass with surgical precision,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a> a feat of genius in the realm of the divine. In a single short battle, using just his observations, he figured out the nature of Yae's steel threads, kicking off of them at the precise angle with the right force to use them as a foothold<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a> and escape from an unavoidable storm of steel threads in a confined space.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a> Wilhelm's swordsmanship is so refined that even when faced with fiery explosions in a confined space,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a> he neutralized them by simply cutting them.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_26-65"><span>[</span>65<span>]</span></a>
At the rare pinnacle of Wilhelm's swordsmanship, which he reached only in moments of extreme emotion or pressure, Wilhelm displayed a level of skill that could be described as placing a foot down<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ite_note-Sword_Demon_Battle_Ballad,_Act_8-106"><span>[</span>99<span>]</span></a> on the steps towards the Heavenly Sword, the apex of technique that many warriors strive towards. Wilhelm makes use of everything to elevate his swordsmanship– encroaching, leaping, brandishing, parrying, maintaining posture, transfering bodyweight, guiding vision, applying technique, utilizing obstacles–<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_29-107"><span>[</span>100<span>]</span></a> his nature being akin to a beast's uncouth violence; the violence turned to drive, the drive sublimated to technique, and finally arriving at the status of legendary. Wilhelm's transcendental swordsmanship embodies all of the battlefields he has fought upon: his experiences against the strongest opponents<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_9,_Chapter_29-107"><span>[</span>100<span>]</span></a> of his era honing his blade. Theresia's ability to intuitively grasp her opponents most vulnerable point,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...l_3,_The_Silver_Flower_Dance_of_Picoutatte-42"><span>[</span>42<span>]</span></a> and see floating white rays of battle which she need only trace with a blade<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_5-6"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> to unquestionably kill her opponent had no effect on Wilhelm,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_5-6"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a> as his swordsmanship unconsciously severed those rays.
Wilhelm's skills in his old age were inferior to when he was in his prime,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_8,_Chapter_3-74"><span>[</span>74<span>]</span></a> but even so he still possessed 50 years of combat experience as a master swordsman, making him a superhuman even among superhumans.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-108"><span>[</span>101<span>]</span></a> He was able to anticipate his opponents attacks by watching the movements of their eyes, feeling their hostility, reading how they breathe as they aim—<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_8,_Chapter_2-13"><span>[</span>13<span>]</span></a> countering with perfect timing even if the attacks are invisible. Wilhelm has superhuman, god-like combat capabilities that make it possible to dodge<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_8,_Chapter_2-13"><span>[</span>13<span>]</span></a> 30+ invisible arms— which even Julius, who can react to invisible attacks on instinct,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...x_Novel_4,_Imperial_Diplomacy_of_Bloodshed-36"><span>[</span>36<span>]</span></a> was unable to detect— just by reacting to the effect the arms had on the dirt in the air. When the number of arms increased further, Wilhelm still faced Petelgeuse and his Unseen Hand by himself, battling the invisible arms which could freely alter their range, direction, and overwhelm the enemy with numbers; by moving beyond the limits of his vision, swaying, accelerating, flipping, toying with his enemy,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-109"><span>[</span>102<span>]</span></a> and drawing ever closer to victory. Those on the level of Wilhelm and Theresia are masters whose skill surpassed the realm of mere humans.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Prologue-68"><span>[</span>68<span>]</span></a> Garfiel freaked out after Wilhelm showed him just a fragment of the summit of strength<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-110"><span>[</span>103<span>]</span></a> he is aiming for. Wilhelm was on the same level as Theresia's Corpse Soldier, who possessed such supreme skill that she could steal away the function a person's leg<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...andomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_20,_Chapter_4-9"><span>[</span>9<span>]</span></a> without doing any unnecessary destruction, only having the barest amount of blood on her sword.
Reinhard's abilities surpass those of the young Cecilus Segmunt, who by watching Al fight just a single time, was able to correctly guess that he possessed an Authority and what that Authority does through sheer intuition,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_36-59"><span>[</span>59<span>]</span></a> and his intuition also correctly informed him that killing too many zombies would be a bad idea<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-111"><span>[</span>104<span>]</span></a> despite being unaware of their connection to the Stone. He single-handedly defeated every soldier in a Vollachian Fortress with just his bare-hands, all while ensuring he didn't kill anyone.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-112"><span>[</span>105<span>]</span></a> To advertise himself to a young Vincent Abellux, Cecilus slaughtered 200 warriors without allowing a single drop of blood to touch himself.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-113"><span>[</span>106<span>]</span></a> He was also able to weave through invisible sniper-fire by sheer guesswork,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_36-59"><span>[</span>59<span>]</span></a> and is said to possess the talent<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_7,_Chapter_104-89"><span>[</span>89<span>]</span></a> to reach Reid Astrea's level of skill. He not only located and killed the mastermind the Great Disaster before anyone knew what was even happening,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-114"><span>[</span>107<span>]</span></a> he also then recognized that same enemy at a glance despite their appearance and soul changing,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-115"><span>[</span>108<span>]</span></a> with him even noticing that their soul had changed.
That same Cecilus has a brain possessing incredible processing power, he is constantly taking in information from his surroundings in order to grasp the location of everyone and everything nearby,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_57-12"><span>[</span>12<span>]</span></a> and his analysis of physicality and behaviour allows him to accurately predict the location of everyone in the vicinity without focusing on them. His mastery of the Flow Method allows him to actively control each and every one of his senses,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_57-12"><span>[</span>12<span>]</span></a> as well as accelerate his own thoughts in order to process the world in extreme slow-motion;<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_57-12"><span>[</span>12<span>]</span></a> such that in the middle of avoiding a flurry of deadly projectiles, he was able to mull over his feelings regarding the current battle, cause a second Cecilus to be born from his accelerated thoughts,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_57-12"><span>[</span>12<span>]</span></a> conversate with the second Cecilus, and then battle with the second Cecilus to determine which will return to regular time as the true Cecilus.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_57-12"><span>[</span>12<span>]</span></a> His mental processing even allowed him to, upon wielding a sword for the very first time, train with the blade for days upon days within his mind, swinging it hundreds of millions of times, all within a fraction of a second in reality,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Arc_8,_Chapter_57-12"><span>[</span>12<span>]</span></a> and then utilize the fruits of his efforts immediately in combat.
Reinhard's skills far surpass those of Elsa Granhiert in single-combat, who is a warrior possessing excellent technique, overwhelming combat intuition, and impossibly fine control<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_15,_Chapter_3-73"><span>[</span>73<span>]</span></a> over her own body. Her skills allow her to keep complete control of a fight, while avoiding large attacks in a cellar<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_1,_Chapter_5-8"><span>[</span>8<span>]</span></a> with very little room to move around. This godlike skill means she could avoid a countless number of ice shards flying all around a room: spinning around, ducking so low she appeared to crawl, stepping off walls to seemingly ignore gravity, and cutting through attacks that were unavoidable,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_1,_Chapter_5-8"><span>[</span>8<span>]</span></a> matching what her opponent had in numbers with her own overwhelming degree of skill. Even when attacked in her blind-spot, with perfect timing, at the perfect angle,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_1,_Chapter_5-8"><span>[</span>8<span>]</span></a> she easily countered and redirected the attack. Elsa can anticipate the course of movement and aims of her opponent, merely by reading the fluctuations in her opponent's gaze and muscles.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-116"><span>[</span>109<span>]</span></a> Countering unseen attacks aimed at her back, without even turning around,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...fandomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_1,_Chapter_5-8"><span>[</span>8<span>]</span></a> is effortless for her. Every technique she encounters even once in battle doesn't work a second time against her, as she foresees it coming<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_15,_Chapter_3-73"><span>[</span>73<span>]</span></a> and promptly avoids and punishes the repetition. Even if a countless number of attacks are used, so long as she's seen it once before, every last one will fail to reach Elsa.<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...ndomdesktop#cite_note-Volume_12,_Chapter_3-50"><span>[</span>50<span>]</span></a>
Despite Elsa having her senses cut off by Shamak,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Volume_11,_Chapter_2-117"><span>[</span>110<span>]</span></a> Elsa managed to accurately aim at her target's vitals<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Volume_11,_Chapter_2-117"><span>[</span>110<span>]</span></a> and avoid an attack that blew away the entire room she was in,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...domdesktop#cite_note-Volume_11,_Chapter_2-117"><span>[</span>110<span>]</span></a> by following her intuition. Elsa's intuition also directed her to chase a fleeing carriage rather than follow her orders,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/R...-Red_Snowfall_on_the_Orcos_Domain,_Part_1-118"><span>[</span>111<span>]</span></a> which led her to locating her true target. She has a commendable sense of timing, exploiting a brief moment of distraction to attack, and her prodigious abilities meant<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Reinhard_van_Astrea?useskin=fandomdesktop#cite_note-Kasaneru2-33"><span>[</span>33<span>]</span></a> she could halt her own blade mid-swing as soon as she realized it would kill her sister. - Divine Protection of the Sword Saint: His skill in swordsmanship is supernaturally increased to the limit of his theoretical natural talent, making him a genius in swordsmanship: whether it's a Holy Sword, Enchanted Sword, or the Dragon Sword itself, no steel will not lay bare in his hands. This expertise extends to all forms of combat— be it swords, spears, or axes— so long as it is connected to battle he understands their strengths and weaknesses completely. It gives him the ability to draw the Dragon Sword Reid, and it lets him cut that which cannot be cut. He also receives flawless battle instincts, and can see floating white rays of battle drawn out by the Sword God that he need only trace with his sword to unquestionably kill his opponent.
- Divine Protection of the Phoenix: Upon death, he is granted a one-time "Continue?" so long as his soul is intact, resurrecting his body and cleansing him of negative effects. He has already used this Divine Protection when he was killed in his battle against the Sin Archbishop of Greed. While this Divine Protection could only be used once and he can't receive the same benefit a second time, he will acquire a new Divine Protection with a similar effect, Divine Protection of the Phoenix — Next, and if that Divine Protection is used, he will acquire Divine Protection of the Phoenix — Next Next, and so on endlessly, as the World won't let him die.
- Divine Protection of Initiative: His first attack on an opponent always lands, and he can never fall victim to surprise attacks.
- Divine Protection of First Sight: He will instinctively know how to counter or dodge attacks that he is experiencing for the first time, akin to precognition. This includes surprise attacks, and he will be awakened should he be sleeping. But if he is unable to physically avoid or counter the attack, the Divine Protection will not activate.
- Divine Protection of the Second Coming: He will intuitively respond to attacks that he experiences twice or more with a vastly greater speed, including surprise attacks, and he will be awakened should he be sleeping. This effectively causes attacks to not land on him, making it an effective ability against formidable opponents.
- Divine Protection of Handling: He knows how to use and master any item he holds.
- Divine Protection of the Weapon God: He is able to use any weapon masterfully.
- Divine Protection of Unarmed Combat: He is very strong with his bare hands.
- Divine Protection of Blue Skies: He becomes stronger when under blue skies.
- Divine Protection of Teary Skies: He becomes stronger when under rainy skies.
- Divine Protection of New Skies: He becomes stronger when under the morning sky.
- Divine Protection of Night Skies: He becomes stronger when under the night sky.
- Divine Protection of Stormy Skies: While unconfirmed, it likely makes him stronger under stormy skies.
- Divine Protection of Shedding Blood: He becomes stronger as he sheds more blood.
I know it's in the story. wank as in he's scaling above others and not him ever doing some impressive shitFunny, none of what I said is wank, all of this in the story
That's irrelevantOkay, what other abilities are part of it then?
I was correcting your flawed notion, the rest of the bs discussion going on here isn't really relevant to me. I'm not arguing for either side, just correcting bad notions. There isn't a need to understand the flow of all energies to do this "basic shit" as you put it, the application matters and it's essentially the same.
Now, I see you still have not replied to anything related to the dodging feats or the fact that garou gets sliced apart at the start of their fight
Garou still can't even touch Reinhard because you would rather downplay and avoid any arguments against the
That isn't wank, ReZero scaling works so that the feats are scalable to one another. Calling a power system itself to be a wank is wild iclI know it's in the story. wank as in he's scaling above others and not him ever doing some impressive shit
It's very relevant hereThat's irrelevant
I really don't understand this notion of "post the feats or he doesn't have any" when everything is on the profile, the ******* profile was made so that we don't have to keep posting the same shit repeatedly. Debates are done when certain clarifications or additions are needed not to have to post the entire ******* profile back to back.Snip
It's true that he isn't arguing well. If I were to reconstruct his argument, I'd say that he could handle damage reflection such as Garou's due to the fact that it's not something unheard of in his own verse in the slightest, even before considering the effect of First Sight.Like your arguments neither have head or tail. "This guy skill can do attack reflection, garou skill can do it to, since Reinhard is above that guy he is also above garou". This is basically what you said and it is just a very dumb argument. At least someone below even tried and put a couple of skill feats for him
Now for the rain dodge non believers, I am sorry if you feel like it isnt a real "skill" feat.
Reinhard delivered a letter in a rainstorm while dodging every raindrop. (Felt's Birthday 2018)
Reinhard weaved through Regulus' droplets of water and grains of dust, even in cqc. (Volume 19)
Cecilus says he can dodge rain. (Tanpenshuu 7)
Kid Cecilus dodges danmaku comparable to grains in a sandstorm or raindrops in a rainstorm. (Volume 37)
Cecilus and Halibel dodged rain by instinctive intuition. (Volume 38)
Reinhard, Cecilus, and Halibel can dodge a rain of light, although dodging a mist of light would be troublesome. (Volume 38)
Roy, a proper extraordinary genius with the collective intellect of tens of thousands of individuals, asserts that while no one is capable of dodging rain, there are still select exceptions who can do so. (Volume 43)
This is the most comedic one in terms of actual description, but Olbart is a shinobi so there's a chance he just used substitution jutsu. Here is a non transcendent dodging an attack with no opening btw
Just out of curiousity, what do you think about my and @MrTayman616's debate part, regarding Spatial cut, and if it's usable or not?I am casting my vote for Garou.
"faster than infinity:" This is logically sound. Infinity in set theory also has levels to it. You can count past Aleph-0, for example. It is also possible to be faster than instant travel via breaking the speed formula (Going through time itself)"Faster than Infinity"
"A strike that ripples across all possible realities"
"Regenerated from absolute nothingness"
Among all the absurdities y'all have seen throughout fiction, somehow it’s rain dodging being a skill that you all have a hard time digesting. Y'all ain't fckn real![]()
There is no context to make the feat possible in the case of Reinhard. Being able to do such a thing would imply some kind of shapeshifting or intangibility as pulling it off without any abilities is physically impossible.
I'd note that the Sword Saint aspect of analytical prediction analyzes more than just gaze, stance, breathing, and muscle movement, but also "the air that hangs about them", implying prediction based on something more than just physical details which can generally be obscured, although he'd also be able to see through an obscured attack anyway, even before considering First Sight which— while indexed as instinctive action on account of it verbatim granting "instinctive understanding"— still has an effect which is directly compared to foresight, granting Reinhard an understanding of what to do to defend himself.Analytical Prediction
It allowed Reinhard to understand instinctively how to react so as to defend himself from attacks he was seeing for the very first time. In a word, it was almost like seeing an attack before it happened. The divine protection was useless if one was unable to react to an attack that was perceived, but Reinhard’s physical abilities were such that there was no attack he couldn’t respond to. —Imperial Diplomacy of Bloodshed
- Further Analytical Prediction (From the outset of his battle with the Crimson Sakura, Wilhelm accurately predicted that he would reap the shinobi's life in four moves,[23] with her only surviving the final slash because of a hidden pit under the floor she had prepared in advance)
I think Reinhard's intuition kind of overlaps as a blend of instinct and maybe ESP? It's a sort of superhuman guesswork[1] which is[2] honestly[3] completely[4] bullshit[5] in what[6] it allows[7] the verse's[8] transcendents[9] to do,[10] and even the intuition of non-transcendents can[11] get[12] really nutty[13] at times.[14]Instinctive Action
Reinhard's hand-to-hand is still excellent on account of the DP of Unarmed Combat and being a master of countless martial arts akin to Gluttony, who is capable of literally every martial art and can handle anything thrown at him so long as it's based on purely finesse (although I'd argue that Gluttony's pool of mastery is wider even if Reinhard's is deeper), he usually fights without a sword anyway. Still probably inferior to Garou's based purely on feats I'd assume.General Martial Arts
And yet he obviously[1] can[2] since[2] he and people[3] at his[4] level can[5] do so[6] consistently[7]. Feel free to not consider it skill (as with the likes of Reid's skills being so potent they manifest concepts and slice through dimensions or black holes). It's still evasion he is capable of, being logically impossible doesn't matter. There is no context to make the feat possible in the case of Reinhard.
It's not a matter that it didn't happen, but rather just the wiki not accepting it as a skill feat. So the feat can be used as/for argument's, just not for skill,And yet he obviously[1] can[2] since[2] he and people[3] at his[4] level can[5] do so[6] consistently[7]. Well Garou is able to do all of this instinctually while asleep, so that's where we can gauge the gap.I'd note that the Sword Saint aspect of analytical prediction analyzes more than just gaze, stance, breathing, and muscle movement, but also "the air that hangs about them", implying prediction based on something more than just physical details which can generally be obscured, although he'd also be able to see through an obscured attack anyway, even before considering First Sight which— while indexed as instinctive action on account of it verbatim granting "instinctive understanding"— still has an effect which is directly compared to foresight, granting Reinhard an understanding of what to do to defend himself.
And your point about the "next next move" actually reminded me that I totally forgot to include Wilhelm's own ability to predict a battle's flow in advance anywhere except for Wil's precog justification, not even in his own skillslop justification. At least I put it somewhere ig. Gotta fix that at some point.
Again, Garou doing all his stuff while asleep is a much better feat for Instinctive Action.I think Reinhard's intuition kind of overlaps as a blend of instinct and maybe ESP? It's a sort of superhuman guesswork[1] which is[2] honestly[3] completely[4] bullshit[5] in what[6] it allows[7] the verse's[8] transcendents[9] to do,[10] and even the intuition of non-transcendents can[11] get[12] really nutty[13] at times.[14]
Garou's flat hand was able to slice through a the armor of a being continental in length that was harder than the hardest materials in the world. Mind you, Garou is utilizing his Ki on a higher level than Nichirin who is able to use his body to pass through atoms. The stipulation with this however is that Reinhard, even in bare-hand cqc, is still practically wielding a sword due to the sharpness of the flat of his hands being equal to a Holy Sword or Enchanted Sword. It poses the threat of Garou losing a limb or received a deep cut from an unarmed blow.
Still pretty much equivalent as OPM guys can sense things like murderous intent and react purely on reflexes to that (with eyes closed).I'd note that the Sword Saint aspect of analytical prediction analyzes more than just gaze, stance, breathing, and muscle movement, but also "the air that hangs about them", implying prediction based on something more than just physical details which can generally be obscured, although he'd also be able to see through an obscured attack anyway, even before considering First Sight which— while indexed as instinctive action on account of it verbatim granting "instinctive understanding"— still has an effect which is directly compared to foresight, granting Reinhard an understanding of what to do to defend himself.

It's equivalent to Garou being unconscious because he is not actually taking in any information consciously.I think Reinhard's intuition kind of overlaps as a blend of instinct and maybe ESP? It's a sort of superhuman guesswork[1] which is[2] honestly[3] completely[4] bullshit[5] in what[6] it allows[7] the verse's[8] transcendents[9] to do,[10] and even the intuition of non-transcendents can[11] get[12] really nutty[13] at times.[14]
Helps a bit but I would still say Garou being better in hand to hand is a given since its like... his main thing...Reinhard's hand-to-hand is still excellent on account of the DP of Unarmed Combat and being a master of countless martial arts akin to Gluttony, who is capable of literally every martial art and can handle anything thrown at him so long as it's based on purely finesse (although I'd argue that Gluttony's pool of mastery is wider even if Reinhard's is deeper), he usually fights without a sword anyway. Then there's the fact that Reinhard can use practically anything lying around as a weapon, and his slash that split space was performed with a throwaway blade at the end of its life in a cellar. Also I thought his bright-light-vaporization attack was done only with weapons but it was shown in Ex1 and in the anime that even an unarmed attack can manifest a sword of bright flash of light that vanishes his target, even in all directions.
Garou has knowledge of Reinhard's resurrection which is why I mentioned KO being a win-con. He also doesn't really tend to kill humans.and his DPs to wake him up if he's sleeping are also pretty significant if Garou's more in-character move is to KO rather than kill.
Faster than instant travel is absolute nonsense in physics. Moving through time is absolute nonsense in physics. Striking so hard that it ripples across all possible realities is absolute nonsense in physics. Regenerating from "nothing" from f nothing is absolute nonsense. None of them make sense logically. The very idea of moving faster than light without infinite energy and without breaking causality is absurd on its own let alone those examples. No offense, but the only thing I get from your explanation is how much out of touch you are"faster than infinity:" This is logically sound. Infinity in set theory also has levels to it. You can count past Aleph-0, for example. It is also possible to be faster than instant travel via breaking the speed formula (Going through time itself)
"A strike that ripples across all possible realities." Also possible. This is just the range of an attack. There's nothing illogical about that.
"Regenerate from nothingness." Yeah, coming back from nothing doesn't break logic either.
"Dodging rain in a rainstorm." Well, the issue with this arises when you actually look into the volume of a person vs the volume of raindrops in a storm.
Average person has a volume of 0.06 to 0.07 cubic meters or about 60,000 to 70,000 cubic centimeters.
The density of rain in a rainstorm is 2900 to 3800 drops per cubic meter, or about 0.0029 to 0.0038 drops per cubic meter
This means that for the density of a human being, there would be, on average, about 150 to 300 drops within the volume of space they occupy at any given moment.
And every raindrop in the surrounding space would only leave, on average, about 6 to 7 cm apart. Male body has an average height of 170cm and is about 95cm wide, with a total surface area of around 1.7m^2
In summary, there is no possible way for a human body to exist inside of an average rainstorm without making contact with a raindrop. As I said before, it is the equivalent of saying you are the most skilled character for being able to fit a cubic meter inside of a cubic centimeter or being able to draw a square circle. Something that is, for all intents and purposes, impossible to do.
There is no context to make the feat possible in the case of Reinhard. Being able to do such a thing would imply some kind of shapeshifting or intangibility as pulling it off without any abilities is physically impossible.
You're conflating physics with logic.Faster than instant travel is absolute nonsense in physics. Moving through time is absolute nonsense in physics. Striking so hard that it ripples across all possible realities is absolute nonsense in physics. None of them make sense logically. The very idea of moving faster than light without infinite energy and without breaking causality is absurd on its own let alone those examples. Turning a 0 into a 1 is not a logical impossibility. It's not just about physics. The idea of regenerating from "nothing" is absolute nonsense. I guarantee that if you brought that up in a group of normal people, you'd get laughed at. A lot of y'all here are so out of touch that it's insane.
thats cool but do you have a voteIt's not just about physics. The idea of regenerating from "nothing" is absolute nonsense. I guarantee that if you brought that up in a group of normal people, you'd get laughed at. A lot of y'all here are so out of touch that it's insane.
I was told by someone that this was against Saitama, who afaik is not particularly skilled, and that his predictions weren't shown to be accurate against him while he was blitzing him. You only posted a cropped scan, so is that the full context?
- Can see multiple moves into the future against opponents with a blitz-worthy speed advantage.
Decided to look up this feat since it wasn't linked here and the link on Iaian's page is dead. It's not what you implied.
- Scales above characters who are far less skilled in OPM, such as Iaian, who is able to simultaneously track the movements of tens of thousands of attacks simultaneously, with his eyes closed, by just sensing murderous intent.
Garou's a feat of being more instinctual in nature, but what those instincts permit him is to fight as normal while his conscious mind isn't present, it's not on par with something like First Sight granting intuitive understanding of how to respond to new threats.Well Garou is able to do all of this instinctually while asleep, so that's where we can gauge the gap.
Again, Garou doing all his stuff while asleep is a much better feat for Instinctive Action.
This still isn't describing it as sharp, and is mitigated by the fact that the one he's slicing is much, much, much bigger than him which creates a greater surface area ratio (which is really just what sharpness is). It's a feat of strength for sure, but it wouldn't be sharp against a human-sized opponent, unlike Reinhard whose knife-hand chop can split a person so keenly that their body doesn't split apart for several moments.Garou's flat hand was able to slice through a the armor of a being continental in length that was harder than the hardest materials in the world. Mind you, Garou is utilizing his Ki on a higher level than Nichirin who is able to use his body to pass through atoms.
Wilhelm didn't predict just the outcome, he counted the exact moves. And after his opponent fell into her prepped underground space, lined with countless steel threads, he was able to recall their exact placement in the split-second he saw them glint in the light before falling down into the darkness, kicked off the walls without fear of being cut up, and then he dealt with a storm of thread attacks of trajectory and magnitude that even their user couldn't read them, by figuring out the exact angle and intensity he'd have to kick a thread to use it as a foothold.Predicting the outcome of a battle isn't the same as being in a battle and predicting the next moves.
I wouldn't consider them equivalent. While unconscious, the subconscious can still be active, and act in the place of consciousness akin to sleepwalking. I presume his eyes were closed, but his subconscious could realistucally use hearing and ESP to act instinctively, just at an impossibly ficticious level. It's equivalent to Garou being unconscious because he is not actually taking in any information consciously.
His body is just sensing and countering attacks on his own. It's similarly nonsensical.
Not named, it was a Q&A where the author said Reinhard cannot stay awake for more than a week, but a Divine Protection would wake him up so that he still can't be defeated. I'd presume it's either First Sight, the Second Coming, or Initiative, but it could be an unnamed one. What DP would wake him up?
Whether or not Saitama is skilled or not doesn't really matter he's still capable of calculating multiple next moves ahead.I was told by someone that this was against Saitama, who afaik is not particularly skilled, and that his predictions weren't shown to be accurate against him while he was blitzing him. You only posted a cropped scan, so is that the full context?
Downplay of the feat. Just because some of the hairs are bound together doesn't change that fact. They're still tracking a significant amount of tendril attacks. If you want to divide it into hundreds instead, sure. But it's definitely not less than 70 lol.Decided to look up this feat since it wasn't linked here and the link on Iaian's page is dead. It's not what you implied.
Having to cut 100,000 strands isn't the same as having to cut them or even track them one by one. Each of the tendrils likely contains hundreds or thousands of strands by themselves which are cut all at once by a single sword-swing. They are visibly not facing a sea of 100,000 individual strands, which need to be cut individually, but multiple condensed tendrils of hair in the order of several tens at most.
This is just an objectively less impressive showing than Wilhelm's withered skills against Petelgeuse, given he was by himself, facing down greater danmaku (upwards of 70 in this scan given there were only two other Fingers left), which he couldn't see, hear, or sense, using only the destruction of dirt particles in the air and occassionally Petelgeuse's gaze/breathing.
Subconscious understanding = Intuitive Understanding. There is no meaningful difference between those.Garou's a feat of being more instinctual in nature, but what those instincts permit him is to fight as normal while his conscious mind isn't present, it's not on par with something like First Sight granting intuitive understanding of how to respond to new threats.
That's cool but it still doesn't really match 3 steps of prediction. Being able to predict the outcome of a fight while being outside the fight is not the same thing.Wilhelm didn't predict just the outcome, he counted the exact moves. And after his opponent fell into her prepped underground space, lined with countless steel threads, he was able to recall their exact placement in the split-second he saw them glint in the light before falling down into the darkness, kicked off the walls without fear of being cut up, and then he dealt with a storm of thread attacks of trajectory and magnitude that even their user couldn't read them, by figuring out the exact angle and intensity he'd have to kick a thread to use it as a foothold.
I mean, eventually this becomes never ending then because Garou will just continue to power-cliff Reinhard. Not named, it was a Q&A where the author said Reinhard cannot stay awake for more than a week, but a Divine Protection would wake him up so that he still can't be defeated. I'd presume it's either First Sight, the Second Coming, or Initiative, but it could be an unnamed one.
If he cant get knocked out due to a DP waking him up, wouldnt this mean Garou has like no win consNot named, it was a Q&A where the author said Reinhard cannot stay awake for more than a week, but a Divine Protection would wake him up so that he still can't be defeated.
