So whenever i scale weak characters that range from human to building, mostly on the building side of things. I see people disagree with me and they start debunking my "high scale". like mf I saw what they did on screen, i don't need some real world measurement to scale a fictional character. another stupid thing is that wall level is such a big range of joules, its actually depressing. (What wall needs 20 million joules, bro). than there is the fact that joules measurement only works under the laws of physics and not in a fictional realm where someone's 5 kg arm moving at 30 km/h destroys a cabin. than there are light-speed weak characters. if a wall-level character moves at light speed, that will mean infinite joules so he goes from wall to high universal+ all because of KE. like, would that mean Mr. Incredible is universal because he reacts to light-speed laser eyes and might be able to throw a fist that fast? NO!! so in conclusion, let's keep the joules stuff when scaling real-world things like bears or bombs.

Using redditors as an argument is crazy work ngl. Not to mention that VSBW rarely used KE to measure AP, especially when characters are relativistic or god forbid FTL

Erm no. Since no one wants to explain why this is wrong. I will.

You’re kind of missing the point here. The reason we use joules and real world physics isn’t because we think fiction perfectly obeys physics, it obviously doesn’t, in fact, every staff member and member accepts that it doesn't. It’s because without a standardised framework, everything just becomes “I saw it, it looked strong to me,” which is completely subjective and is fallacious. Wall level being a wide tier isn’t a flaw, because not all walls are the same.

Basically, high tier reddit debater > high tier Vsbw debater > high tier Discord debater. Don't use reddit arguments, please.

"I seen a character who was stated to be the strongest in the world - he's planetary or even universal"
