Really bad. Boring and adds nothing new to the BotW verse except OCs.So to anyone who has it, how is Age of Imprisonment so far? Won’t be getting it for a while so I’m just wondering how it is.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and very much free to dislike it, but I really doubt you in particular have gotten and played the game yourself.Really bad. Boring and adds nothing new to the BotW verse except OCs.
So Calamo became the ancient tree stump right? The position he placed down his roots relative to Death Mountain and some nearby cliffs seems to match up, and he had the gerudo spear which lines up with Zelda mentioning the stump having a spear in the new voice memories. Also gonna assume Crenando gets accelerated development for actively growing stronger during his fight the sages?
No. That was done by the Golden Goddesses so... You're not scaling that shit due to power similarity. And there's literally zero reason as to why we'd scale base Ganondorf to it anyway?@Chariot190 crazy desperate attempt from me. Can't we scale Ganondorf durability from the great flood in wind waker, it could give us Country level results-
This sounds like that one stream meme, idkPlease Chariot I need this my fav verse is kinda featless. (who gets the reference wins)
Whatever people want. Like I'm not ngl, my main concern is classic, OOT/MM. The only thing this game matters for, for what I'm doing, is that it gives a lil extra slop to the Master Sword and that's about it. It's pretty ******* NEAT slop tho so shrug I'll take it.So, what do we do about it? Start with updating classic HW and move from game to game, or just frontload all of our efforts onto Tears of the Final BotW Game?
What do you mean “Whatever people want”? We’ve tried that for years, and nobody’s moved a muscle. We’re averaging about one TotK profile a year. The people need direction or this will be the norm.Whatever people want. Like I'm not ngl, my main concern is classic, OOT/MM. I'm just gonna throw this game a few calcs because the Ganon profile is aight, so may as well update one of our few good profiles with the new slop, which is to say calc the golem's LS feats, and just a few easy ones to throw on the verse pagewhich im literally doing right now actually, I have Astawhatever tf his name was and Gleeok models in blender, Gleeok is way bigger than I thought, mf is like 48m long.
And then uh idk nothing, I want to make a Golem + Calamo profile but it'd take like a month if I just focus entirely on it, longer if I multi-task, and by then someone else would probably have gotten around to it so I'll probably just make a CRT for it after using whoever opted to make it as a base. I'd assume Dust wants to make a profile for them, so if he wants to do it or someone else, I'm not gonna call it in this case, if it's done, it's done, and if it isn't, well then ig people will get my version first but that'll be awhile, way to much other shit to do first to hyperfocus on it. I just finished up Raiden (mostly, need a few final links) for a CRT (and the person I did it for vanished... idk what happened to bro...), but, ya know.
I'm wondering if we can pin down the coordinates for a few laces to TOTK, would help make this shit easy because we can just use the map's meter counter instead of trying to angsize and pytha a bunch of convoluted complex angle shots.

Just because it's not a job doesn't mean they get to waste everyone's time with waiting. This shit is a hobby not a job, we don't have or need to do things a certain way besides making sure the profiles are up to standard quality. We work on what we feel like when we feel like it for however long we feel like it, someone wants to make a profile for Blizetta and nothing else and takes like 3 months to publish it? Totally fine, all that we'd ask of them is that the profile is up to par with what's expected, doesn't matter when they do it. Not even mentioning how everyone here isn't focused on just one verse, we've all got other verses and profiles we wanna work on outside Zelda.
What the **** do you mean "waste everyone's time"? We don't have an obligation to anyone.Just because it's not a job doesn't mean they get to waste everyone's time with waiting.
How long have we been waiting for Champion profiles people said they'd do? How long have we been waiting for Sage profiles? How long have we been waiting for Hyrule Warriors game revisions or even profiles of any kind? What the **** do you mean "waste everyone's time"? We don't have an obligation to anyone.
So your solution is "get over it"? Not even to release stuff yourself?Don't know, don't care. People will make what they want, when they want. We've got other hobbies, we've got lives, even in this hobby we've got other verses outside Zelda we like to work on. If people don't like it they're feel to try and make the profiles or revisions themselves so long as they at least meet the bare minimum for our profile standards
Pretty much, not anyone elses problem you're so obsessed with this shit. We're not here to pander to anyone. Besides your usual whining over nothing, nobody on this forum is actively calling or waiting for any profiles or revisions anyway. So your solution is "get over it"?
Not a single thing I said even comes close to a conclusion like this, try actually reading. Not even to release stuff yourself?
Beat it, my thoughts boil down to "it was aight, except calamo and the knight they were based af" and "wow rauru is an actual character now, that's cool" and I kind of appreciate Nintendo not changing them getting low-mid diffed, like nah they just get kind of packed up, there is no "oh they almost did it", or "oh they were unlucky", they just weren't built to box Ganondorf I fear.
Anyway, for ACTUAL slop you dudes might wanna hear, this is just a tldr, ill be doing a sandbox over the next few days for the fluff and more details and to get a few calcs out (idk how long those will take to get out tho, depends how ass the scaling of a few things might be, one or two decent ones super easy tho I already did one in a sticky it was that quick).
There's like two dozen "this is a continent" statements. This is actually really useful, as before, the only thing calling Hyrule a continent off the top of my head was HH saying the great sea covered the continent (different Hyrule so doesn't count), and a ******* loading screen tip in TOTK hinting at the existence of the statue saying "somewhere in the depths of the continent". In this we get dozens of statements calling it a continent, so that's def locked in, that could upgrade some stuff, would upgrade movement speed at least, Raphisca has some lines about covering it in quick order.
Featwise, there isn't much in terms of upgrades for end game, like 5-A is still the cap, doesn't go past the funny moon shit, but, it's an upscale now. They say multiple times that ganondorf was getting even stronger. Ergo, Ganondorf at full power should get an "At least" slapped on his shit now, same with Link. Actually with how many "they got stronger" lines in this game, for everyone, there's some agenda here.
For LS, there actually is, the Knight has two feats that are at minimum very high Class G (throwing a rock hard enough to shatter part of the kaiju or whatever tf it's called) and pushing(?) the forbidden one through like two sky islands and making like an 8-A crater too on impact (it might even be higher, the crater has scorch marks so it might be an odd mix of frag, pulv, and even vaporization). The knight physically couldn't overpower Ganondorf so, yeah it scales to others too physically.
Speed, there might actually be something via bullet time against the beam emittersin one of the flight stages, the beams also move visibly which kind of implies the construct flies so fast he's like rel, but im going to ignore that unless someone else mentions it, besides that everyone can like statue explosions, or even lightning strikes as they come down so decent speed feats.
Bit feats tho, the game has a fuckton. We got dozens of tier 8 casual feats, and even tier 7. Hell one of Argaston's basic moves you could calc at like 7-B. But there's a lot of, while not upgrades, visually nice looking feats that would help establish and help fix the whole notion of zelda slop being kind of low (as in tier 9 or low 8).
Off the top of my head, some decent ones would be
Gleeok pulping a sky island flying through it
The Golem's dive bomb which we gotta calc anyway for LS + the rock throw
Arg's lava shit
Grimgibdo's huge ass tornado sand shit in its final fight (it's basically the Adel feat from Elden Ring which we just had calced at like tier 7)
The construct fragging actually giant af rock formations in some of the flight sequences in like one hit
Gleeok has a decent storm feat that's def an upgrade over current TOTK mid-game, so that needs to be calced
Marugia (i legit dont know how to spell its name) slop which is obviously decent simply due to how big it is I don't think I need to elaborate
Grimgohma lava shit (tier 7)
idk theres more i just woke up ill flesh list out with details later
Scaling, tbh I thought it was gonna be iffy but it turns out pretty standard and the iffys I thought were gonna end up becoming a thing, get corrected by random statements, unless we literally want to take shit like not instant one shotting a bokoblin in gameplay to backscale as if they dont yap about how easy it is half the time , it like mostly fixes itself in the end so dont think we're gonna run into any egregious backscaling, there's still a clear divide.
Hell Zelda herself has upward of 50 "and she got much stronger lmao" statements throughout too, so that also helps correct some slop.
Shades give everyone NPI basically so that's neat, they're noncorporal and can possess shit too so they got feats of being intangible for the most part. Decent NPI too, like that JJK type shit.
The main thing of interest though, is just the random fluff, the lil entries to each aside quest end up giving characters a lot of fleshing out in terms of kit intelligence shit, like Zelda mastering a shit ton of weapons, combat forms, growing stronger, stealth, fighting in various situations, etc (also useful for upscalings, there's a lot of "and they got even more powerful lmao!" lines). You could probably even make a lil skill slop blog with all the random statements in there, which is nice because it all circles back to Ganondorf and Link in the end. Ergo Link might have skill slop outside of that one random statement saying Ganondorf knows like every martial arts or whatever tf it was, weapons maybe?
Anyway we have a 5-C to 5-A Korok, and he actually scales (there's a few lines of some people even saying the korok is stronger than them, and he does in cutscene perform two feats that enable some higher end scaling), so that's dangerously based.
tbh seems a bit weird that we have BotW MS at 7-B, but a construct powered by a shard of that same MS would scale to 5-C/5-A. But meh, feats are feats
The construct itself does play a part in it's strength, when Ganon's gloom awakens the other construct and makes it go beserk he's more focused on the power the construct itself possesses than what it gained from his magic and is interested to see how strong it is. There's still some iffy stuff like Rauru commenting on how much power the small shard of the MS possesses but for the most part we can easily keep BOTW MS as being weaker than the shard imbued knight construct
The construct itself is where the stats come in, the MS shard is just the core, and gave it basically a soul, the construct itself is the spooky apocalyptic robot. They hype them up in general, Rauru even calls it a clanker.tbh seems a bit weird that we have BotW MS at 7-B, but a construct powered by a shard of that same MS would scale to 5-C/5-A. Are the profiles worth making atp or is it just good for already existing TotK stuff? The construct itself is where the stats come in, the MS shard is just the core, and gave it basically a soul, the construct itself is the spooky apocalyptic robot. They hype them up in general, Rauru even calls it a clanker.
The only thing of note is the final feat which is probably a weird mix of a few thingsand im not so sure that should even be on the table for scaling ever
Both, worth making profiles for newcomers like Calamo and the two constructs, the sages and Rauru obviously have a lot more to work with now then they did with just TOTK, etc...Are the profiles worth making atp or is it just good for already existing TotK stuff?
Why do you keep answering things I ask other people? Both, worth making profiles for newcomers like Calamo and the two constructs, the sages and Rauru obviously have a lot more to work with now then they did with just TOTK, etc...
It will likely be that his tier will end up being 5-A via downscaling from Ganondorf's first blood moon, I just haven't seperated his justifications for his AP into different tiers / keys yet.Disappointed I didn't see RalseiIs there any reason his tier is not just straight up 5-A, at least for a final Key?
I suppose you've answered the question of how we'll attack the Hyrule Warriors games. It will likely be that his tier will end up being 5-A via downscaling from Ganondorf's first blood moon, I just haven't seperated his justifications for his AP into different tiers / keys yet.
All of that just to agree with me.I don't think anyone said they couldn't train? Just that characters in, say, Age of Calamity wouldn't be significantly stronger than their BOTW counterparts (With Link, Zelda, and Ganon being the major exceptions due to the former two being stated in BOTW to be weaker than they were during the Great Calamity, and Ganon in this game gets external amps thanks to Astor). The champions for example canonically have all their training missions in AoC before Calamity Ganon returns and don't get extra ones after that, so they'd still end up stuck at the same power level they were in the original timeline when the blights murked them.
The story mode for Hyrule Warriors doesn't have moments of training between story missions unless I missed something, any power-ups they get are related to things like new weapons or Triforce pieces. If someone made a Urbosa profile they could probs give her a key for her stats Pre-Calamity based on her training throughout the events leading up to it but she wouldn't get an extra key or a "higher" slapped on for AoC after Great Calamity.
"Botw verse"I think the BotW verse’s Master Sword should get its own profile. Someone like me’s eventually gonna come along and wonder why everything’s so high if we don’t explain it well the first time.
I just use it to differentiate the BotW-related games from what's actually canon to the timeline."Botw verse"
Why do do insist on wasting everyone's time with nonsense like this?
what's actually canon to the timeline.
