DEATH BATTLE! Accuracy Scale [Part 10, The more things change, the more they stay the same]

Clive still has no profiles, right?
we have a profile for Ifrit though from FF15 who scales higher and I heard a rumor that the combat director for DMC5 Said that Clive would win too so take note of that in theory if we just looked at Ifrit and not Clive

The research literally gave Clive the win based on the headcanon about Dante's regeneration being tied to his stamina. That theory never had any basis, it was just a theory to explain attacks from stronger characters doing more damage than those from weaker characters. Contradicted repeatedly.

They also talked about both having means to use ice on each other while neglecting that Dante's King Cerberus is absolute zero and Dante resists it.

Does Absolute Zero Resistance matter here? Being resistant to AZ doesn’t mean you’re immune to 2-A Ice attacks with only 2-C Durability. Shiva > King Cerberus

Where is 2-A coming from? Shiva by herself peaks at tier 6, with Clive taking her powers and the rest of the eikons like bahamut and odin up to 2-C.

where is the accepted thread that says 2-C FFXVI?
uh, I guess the general FF16 discussion thread? We don't have a CRT or anything about 2-C given... there's no profiles for the game yet. We've discussed the endgame tiering for Clive and Ultima and we landed on 2-C from Ultimas own feat of creating and warping his own universe and upscaling from Omega who could destroy the entirely cosmology of the game.

Clive lacks AZ resistance, KC uses AZ ice. Moment it hits him it's curtains. Ice is also based on temperature, and AZ basically means cold attacks are basically useless

I don’t know if you realize this but Higher Dimensionality Ice>AZ on a Lower Dimensionality

And Ice attacks is not the same as Cold attacks in the same way Extreme Heat attacks isn’t the same as Fire attacks

Having AZ resistance doesn’t make you invulnerable to being crushed or impaled by ice of higher AP than your durability.

?
Who's higher dimensional?

Absolute zero is literally the ultimate cold. That's why it's resistance to cold amped up to 11. It's got an additional characteristic that makes it an instant win unless resisted. Anything dropped to AZ will fall apart on the atomic level due to the atoms losing their cohesiveness. Instant cloud of frozen atoms blowing away from where Clive used to be, literally the instant KC's ice form is used on him.

... Okay.

Aren’t we looking at Sin Devil Trigger Dante vs Final Form Ifrit Clive though for determining accuracy?

That's far too narrow of a view. One can regenerate from nothingness while the other has no way to counter that, one has AZ which is an instant win, and the stamina argument about the regeneration is just a headcanon with no real basis. They claim the regeneration is only functional while there's enough energy, but there are human characters with loads of demon energy who lack regeneration, and notably V and his demons all literally share a demonic energy source and he alone lacks regeneration (interesting the only one that lacks demonic physiology) and demons without any energy or even a body or mind who can still regenerate. The regeneration comes from demonic physiology. It doesn't depend on the energy.

Doesn’t Shiva’s Ice Freeze Time itself? Kinda like Esdeath?

That's time hax. Dante resists both ice and time hax though, and again, absolute zero.
As far as I know, we tend to cross-scale the base abilities of Summons across the Final Fantasy franchise, so Shiva would also have absolute zero ice (some of her attacks are also colder than that, from what I remember).

I'm not sure it scales to Clive's one, all things considered.

It isn't likely we'll find out either, given his game was relatively unsuccessful and will likely not get any sequels.

He did crossover with Final Fantasy XIV one time, so his magic might be similar to that game's magic.

(Speaking of FFXIV, Omega in that game says some stuff that implies that all Final Fantasy protagonists have some sort of in-universe plot armor/protagonist power that explains why they can go from stuggling to break a rock to immediately fighting multiversal gods to next moment, so that's a thing, maybe. I'd have to ask the Final Fantasy guys more about it).

We'll have to see what they with him in the future.

Actually, there are concerns as to whether that Tier 2 stuff even scales to Buffy's physicals, given it's a being created from some kind of ritualistic thing when she and Angel get together.

I kept ignoring it, sorry.

Surprisingly, there is a key where Buffy is faster and stronger, but I dont think they used 'Twlight's Empowerment' thingie in DB?

Otherwise Id still rank it, there is a profile even if its missing novels. It depends do we use that one key in profile.
I disagree with blade vs Buffy for these reasons

blade vs Buffy is what happens when you put a character who is strictly a vampire slayer who helps with other stuff sometimes because the writers don’t know what to do with him vs the main protagonist of 250+ comics, a tv show, several video games 200 novels and more. (I may be a bit salty and biased)

Let's not forget the fact that not all of those comics and novels are really canon

I saw that we would be getting a death battle between Kamen Rider Geats vs Nero Claudia from Fate and Geats is 6-D while Nero is also 6-D with possibly 8-D, does that automatically mean she wins by default or is it not as cut and dry?

Also if Yugi beats Ash in this upcoming Death Battle would it be considered wrong regarding the stat difference of the current profiles or is his current profile’s Hax good enough to say it’s Right/Iffy? Because I’m absolutely certain that Yugi’s profile is past due for a CRT.

Both profiles are EXTREMELY past due for a CRT. Stuck in the 2010s the both of em.

Depends if they buy gaim scaling or not. If they scale Geats to gaim he's 8d

Ash too?

Don’t we have stuff for Ash from Journeys and his Post Master’s 8 arc? That’s definitely not stuck in 2010s for him to me, meanwhile we can’t get a simple Yugioh CRT for basic stuff to get any attention to get anywhere without going necro for a quarter of a decade.

Or were you referring to Geats and Nero?

On this website, yes, but both profiles are outdated, so who knows?

Both Ash and Yugi's profiles are also pretty outdated.

Personally Solgaleo is a stretch, since he went to Ultra Space so gl getting him reliably back.

However, DB gives a lot of stuff that shouldnt be given, so at least its a norm.
