In fact, the fight is impossible because a fight between two 0s is absurd and ends in a tie because neither can be surpassed. Except that Lovecraft's Yog Sothoth is not 0. He is inferior to Azathoth, which would be his first cause, as well as to the whole verse + Azathoth and Yog Sothoth would be the avatars of a being called the Supreme Archetype. In conclusion Yog Sothoth of hoyoverse wins the fight.

They are both more or less on the same level, but that doesn't change the fact that Azathoth is considered the primary cause. Both are avatars of the supreme archetype.

I'm not arguing for azathoth being the supreme archetype though? I don't think he's above yog sothoth in the slightest.

I'm not saying Azathoth is no different, but that in terms of hierarchy, he's superior to him because he came before Yog and is a kind of First Cause.
Otherwise, in terms of power as avatars of the supreme archetype, they are equal, yes.

Nothing states that they're avatars of the supreme archetype, yog sothoth would encompass it as he is the unbounded sweep of all being in CM.
And if you're referring to the joke family tree in lovecraft's letter to his friend who also made the same thing, then that is a invalid source.
