Sasori fights another pink haired shinobi
Sasori is his normal self and his Iron Sand is restricted, SBA otherwise

Sasori (Naruto)
AP: 53.15 megatons, higher with Performance of a Hundred Puppets
Speed: 0.028c
LS: At least 1000000 metric tons
Durability: 53.15 megatons

Yae Tenzen
AP: 40.185 megatons
Speed: 28 m/s travel speed, 0.041c combat speed, higher attack speed with Steel Thread Iaido
LS: 119 metric tons
Durability: 40.185 megatons

Sasori has 1.32x ap/dura advantage and massive LS advantage but Yae is 1.48x faster and has higher attack speed

Puppet Master (10): Foriaa, Arkenis, Nierre, Kaydee1648, Pluto321, AlternativePrinciple, Trihexa102, Apollonir.Scale, Lilybitdun, XSOULOFCINDERX
The Superior Sakura (2): VortechsTG, Gigi_4_life
Incon:

Wanna note a couple things
SBA would make the starting distance like 3-4km due to Sasori's range, which would take Yae around 2 minutes to cross

Yae should absolutely be able to do the same reading his hand movements that Sakura did

Also it's funny having the skill verse vs someone who sucks at CQC enough that it's listed as a weakness

I assumed she had the same instinctive action and perception amp stuff as other characters to easily avoid it but I don't see them listed on her profile. That could honestly just take her out
Wait for the Re:Zero supporters to confirm it. I doubt Yae doesn't have some sort of skill upscaling when she's given the Genius rating.

Needle Sphere is likely enough to take Yae out, and because Sasori has control over magnetism, any steel/iron based ability would be nulled due to him controlling it with Iron Sand. Iron Sand would allow Sasori to practically no sell any attack from her with no issue, and if she does manage to damage him, his High - Mid Regen would allow him to reassemble back to his usual, or he can even swap his core entirely with another puppet catching her off guard. Sasori has dozens of puppets + 3rd Kazekage in his bag, not to mention, himself.

She is faster, but probably not fast enough to cover crazy distances before Needle Sphere's AOE reaches her, if she comes close, he can blow poison her way. His Black Sand's physicals are too much for her.

Voting Sasori

I feel like I might need to restrict the iron sand due to the whole making her steel thread useless

This should be on her profile. I don't know why it isn't. This is pretty basic to everyone in the verse. Huge oversight.

She is definitely not a superior Sakura
That aside, what is Yae doing against this, where even a single scratch is enough to induce a lethal dosage of poison that numbs the body instantly
I'm gonna be real, this does not look very difficult for someone as skilled as Yae to dodge, but on top of that she can just pass through it with matter manip.

The main problem seems to be her thread manipulation being pretty much useless here. She should have numerous other options, but we know next to nothing about them. We haven't really seen her fight without being able to use the threads. This feels like a mismatch.

Voting Sasori. Even with Iron Sand restricted, her not getting cut and poisoned is next to impossible. Sasori's also able to hide among his puppets to make hitting her a lot more likely.

How potent is his poison and how exactly would he cut her?

I think its more complex than "potent". Sasori himself messes up on getting the antidote right and it's effects leave the person paralyzed and dead within two days.

Ok, so it wouldn't affect her at all then.

Hold on how potent is her poison resistance? Sasori's poison is literally one of the best in naruto

No it will. Yae isn't immune to poison, and looking at the scans, she is getting effected by random unknown poisons. Sasori's poison effects come from small doses and in this context she won't be hit once, but several times meaning she'll be hit by numerous lethal doses.

She has the strongest poison resistance of any shinobi and a random shinibi mook who dies 6 pages after being introduced literally stores instant death poison inside of his hands and feet so the slightest scratch from his finger or toe nails causes a quick death.

You're talking about the poison that can kill even Shinobi? 😭

Sure she will 💀

How does it cause the death? Way poison works isn't 1 to 1.

Off screened, but she would have trained to resist any kind of poison available to them and I don't think this matters for poison resistance on the wiki.
Yeah the same one she's being effected by.
She's not even being affected by it. Al is. She says it can kill typical shinobi but she has the greatest poison resistance of any shinobi, so it's likely it doesn't affect her, not that we can say for certain (at least not by the wiki's standards for certainty. I would say so otherwise.)

It does. There's different types of poisons and different work arounds and effects, poisons very complex from what I know so unknown resistance or effects says little about the poison.

It says it melts and scrambles her entrails but her pain perception is flipped so the pain she feels is at a minimum. This is not even resistance to poison but pain tolerance.

This is a complere misreading of the text. It's describing how she (around 5-8 years old at the time) easily dealt with different shinobi training: torture resistance, supernatural flexibility, weapons, martial arts, corpse disposal, and of course resisting poison.

The poison, when she was a small child, seemed to scramble her insides, which describes the pain. It just caused small amounts of blood in her waste. Shinobi absolutely resist the effects of poison, and a poison that takes 2 whole days to kill you sounds less than useless, especially when it's not guaranteed to land.

Ok, let's say it does. Ignoring the guy with the poison hands and feet, there's Utakata's poison, which causes a target to lose motor control, their mind starts to slow and ears start ringing, blood starts to flow out of the nose, eyes, ears, and mouth, their body starts convulsing, then they start to throw up their melting organs and die. There's also Olbart's poison which we never saw take full affect, because the affected shoulder was completely removed before it could spread, but just from contact with skin with no actual wound the flesh started to decay and seep blood.

You're talking about the training she had as a child? That is completely irrelevant to the current day.

Why bring up a poison where the infected area was chopped off before it spread instead of being resisted?

I'm not talking about Yae being affected by it. I'm describing what it does to someone who isn't resistant to it, or at least not completely. Yae is completely unaffected by it.

Where her resistance to these?

How much has her resistance increased since then.

Olbart himself uses it by slathering his hands in it. She trained to resist the same poisons as him and has greater resistance than him.
weird that olbart doesn't have poison resistance on his profile then, especially since it's a general shinobi thing
the more I use these profiles the worse I realize they are

Many such cases. This series is longer than One Piece. There is a lot to keep track of. Although, the scan for this one would just be the same as Olbart's poison manipulation scan so it is on his profile.

The reasoning for her resisting Utakata's poison is more important since it acts the closest to Sasori's poison
What grants her resistance to Utakata's poison?

That it is a common poison she has been stated to have trained to resist.

Alright if that's the case then I think Yae wins due to the skill stuff (instinctive action, prediction, analysis, perception amp, etc) and higher speed making it highly unlikely Sasori would land a killshot with her just needing to figure out his core weakness
Plus Sasori's puppets are already seem pretty easy to predict via finger movements like how Sakura did

I will be voting for Yae now then too. She's faster, far more skilled and intelligent, adaptable, can reasonably counter anything Sasori can throw at her, and if absolutely necessary for some reason can dive into the ground to escape and reposition.

Sasori's poison should be layered NGL 2 layers even.

Sasori poison > Kurama's poison > regular poison
