Never thought I'd touch on this, but I may as well speak out on some issues I have with the ratings that will lead to them being upgraded in this pretty straightforward thread. After all, the PMD series is something I enjoyed playing since my elementary school years, so I may as well make the best of it and go straight to the rating quiz.
Higher Dimensional Before Primal
Currently, the Mystery Dungeon Explorers characters peak at Low 2-C through fighting off Primal Dialga. Except... what if I told you they were already much stronger than that even before fighting it?
Yeah, there's one point in the game where Team PokePals are able to contend with Mesprit and defeat it to the point where the latter is left too exhausted to fight any further. Later on, Grovyle proceeds to defeat Azelf with ease offscreen, with the latter being too exhausted to continue fighting. Keep in mind that all of this happens in the mid-game before the whole arc where Team PokePals get taken to the future and all that stuff. This isn't really much of an outlier either given the fact that the whole point of the game is that it's your typical RPG where you train by defeating enemies to level up and become stronger.
As such, anyone in the PMD Explorers cast who scales to Low 2-C should now scale to Low 1-C through Lake Trio scaling. Oh yeah, as a bonus...
YOOM... TAH! (Guildmaster Wigglytuff Upgrade)
Currently, Guildmaster Wigglytuff is ranked High 6-A through Regi Trio scaling. The thing is, however, is that he's able to contend with Team PokePals in a fight in the post-game alongside the rest of the Guild, which was quite literally after Team PokePals defeated Dialga several months prior, to which during those several months prior to fighting Wigglytuff and the rest of the Guild, they were undergoing vigorous training. The rest of the Guild, by that logic, should have also trained in those several months given how they were able to keep up with Team PokePals in that fight.
As such, in what's pretty much a blatant upgrade, Guildmaster Wigglytuff should pretty much be Low 1-C by virtue of keeping up with Team PokePals who have defeated Dialga and Mesprit as stated earlier.
