The Problem
Hello, everyone.
As many of you recognize, I am primarily a Sonic scaler on the wiki. Out of habit, my go-to method was to use image hosting sites for whenever I needed to document something; Imgur in this case. However, my account was recently banned without notice nor warning and all the scan bundles I had went with it. This is a very big issue, as my scans were linked as evidence for numerous characters and blogs.
Remaining Affected Pages I've Worked On:
- Dr. Eggman (Helped overhaul him. Scans from Otherworld Comedyand regarding Light Eggman, as well as inventions from Eggperial City, are almost certainly in need of replacement)
- Various hax for Dr. Eggman have been provided here (Page 5).
- Light Eggman scans have been provided here (Page 5).
- Sage (Created the page)
- Tails (Overhauled him)
- Knuckles (Overhauled him)
- Amy (Overhauled her)
- Metal Sonic
- Wyvern & Knight (Created the pages)
- Both have had scans provided for their overhaul here.
- The Chaos Emeralds
Hax That Used My Scans:
- Anybody that has Damage Transferal with Rings.
- Here is a scan for Rings letting characters tanking Void's attacks, and here is a scan for tanking Supreme End's attacks.
- Anybody with Accelerated Development stemming from Sonic Speed Simulator(the hyperlink used for the "experience gained per step taken" was mine). Here is a replacement description (with the scan);
- Those with Wisp Pets from Speed Sim have scans missing. Here are the replacements in the format they'll be found in on the pages;
- Anybody with a Resistance to Poison & Chemical Products from Chemical Plant in Sonic Speed Simulator (the hyperlink for the text "filled with deadly toxins and the purple pollution water" is busted).
- Anybody with Non-Physical Interaction stemming from Sonic Speed Simulator(the link was mine, but some still had YouTube links in the justification).
- Super Form with imgur scans in their Invulnerability justification (some scans were mine iirc).
- Here is a replacement link for the "Super Forms are verbatim stated to be invincible, indestructible and invulnerable" segment, and here is a replacement link for "inner hidden power of good and evil" section and scans if taking damage from various sources combined.
- Super Forms with imgur scans in their Type 4 Acausality justification (the JP Frontiers scans were mine).
- Here is the statement from The End referring to its defeat as transcending law and time + the chains of fate statement from Sonic.

Solution:
My idea for this is, quite simply,
taking it by one profile at a time (or a system that is just as productive). If for example 5 people are working on detecting and replacing scans throughout a large/medium-sized page, it shouldn't take much time at all for this list to shrink until everything is back to tip-top shape. Thankfully, many of the newer (or more recently updated) pages have references that will allow us to effortlessly retrieve the lost footage/scan.
I would rather never have to go through this again, so priority should be made
to upload scans / justifications to the wiki directly. This way, no YouTube video/Imgur bundle/image hosting sites can hinder it.
I can't do this on my own in a reasonable timeframe, so I'm going to attempt to enlist aid from those who are semi-knowledgeable in the series to make a group effort in restoring any scans, clips, and etc. in a manner that we can efficiently work through this. If anybody is willing to help, it would be highly appreciated. As I (or we) progress, I will be checking things off of the list.
