TPOT 23
TPOT 23
Good episode
One’s combat skills suck big time lmao. Bro does NOT know how to use all of her new powers.
Also since Liy harmed One are we gonna suddenly scale her above Two and Four or would we consider it an antifeat in the sense that yoyelite powers may not scale to physicals when not actively being shown powering them
I think One just getting hurt over and over in this was frankly more just for the plot in general (Along with the fact we see Liy get one shot right after), which honestly is annoying since she clearly has grown even stronger via the fact Ten, Seven, Eight, Nine, and Five are all drained of power too.
small note but Liy was oneshot by One’s laser vision/powers, not her physicals which is what I suggested
To just address one huge thing, did we just get our first immeasurable speed feat with One and the Announcer Ship reacting to each other whilst flying inside the wormhole(?) We see earlier this thing does travel through time after all thanks to the Announcer’s timer recalibrating since originally they were around post BFB 30 ish.

We actually have 2 other Immeasurable feats in the series happening in TPOT 15 (Income Tax Return Document and Team 2 travelling through the events of Total Firey Island by sheer speed through going to a future issue and running back to the first issue) and TPOT 20 (Pencil reacting to her surroundings as she's being taken back in time to BFDI 1a), so this might actually be consistent.
Perhaps her Flipped form would scale to Post-Two & Four Power Absorption One through being able to punch her back and even send her to space (There was no evidence that One was really holding back since she's being very desperate in trying to get X's powers), though I'd consider the parts like Ruby harming PT&FA!One as PIS since the base form contestants are narratively not supposed to be as powerful as her.
no offense but I don’t think Four or Two would be getting packed by Liy regardless of if she’s switched or not. They’re already narratively above all of the contestants due to the literal name of the show being “the power of Two with the prize being Two’s power, among other reasons.
I mean, they could be competing for all of the abilities Two has and not just their physical power, not to mention there being feats of contestants directly harming Two and Four. We already know that Liy in her Flipped state becomes stronger than before, which is why I was considering that form being able to scale to post-powers absorption One since she's usually not as powerful when not in her Flipped state. Sure, One did eventually one-shot Flipped Liy with a single laser blast, but the fact that she can still get harmed by her could mean that she downscales at worst and just straight up scales to her at best.

It could theoretically refer to the variety of Two’s power and not the power side of it, but the fact that it’s called “unlimited power” from the perspective of the contestants makes me think that it should just strictly scale above them. Also, contestants harming Two and Four can be reconciled with their physicals not always scaling to their powers (which is what I suggested earlier)
That’s pretty great supportIsn't that also supported by Ep. 20 where she tries moving a boulder right after obtaining Yoylite's power and concluding she doesn't get super strength or durability? (Probably because she didn't know how to actually strengthen her physicals with her power until much later?)
Pretty sure it has antifeats like Leafy freezing in BFDIA so idkSomething minor I did notice when rewatching the episode a couple times is in the song compilation is Cake apparently enduring -1000 degrees on a “Universal Thermostat” and being just fine later on. Resistance to Absolute Zero to Object Physiology I guess?

What scene was this in?Pretty sure it has antifeats like Leafy freezing in BFDIA so idk
This scene, she uncharacteristically burns in the desert as well when she’s been in them without catching on fire later in the timeline. What scene was this in?
I don't believe that's a fair anti-feat since its clearly done for humorous reasons. This scene, she uncharacteristically burns in the desert as well when she’s been in them without catching on fire later in the timeline.
I’m in agreement, at worst it’s just a weakness for Leafy in specific and just doesn’t gain that resistance.I don't believe that's a fair anti-feat since its clearly done for humorous reasons.
That's why the entire verse isn't downgraded to Tier 9.
Honestly, I think I might drop the argument of Flipped Liy scaling to post-power absorption One given how Two actually implied that One was holding back as to not do a repeat of what she did to Three. It could theoretically refer to the variety of Two’s power and not the power side of it, but the fact that it’s called “unlimited power” from the perspective of the contestants makes me think that it should just strictly scale above them. What would be of Two using their power to strengthen themselves, then? Also, One stated 2 scenes afterward that she can't fly, and yet she's very much able to fly later on, implying that she couldn't do her super strength initially due to her lack of experience since she just got the Yoylite powers.Isn't that also supported by Ep. 20 where she tries moving a boulder right after obtaining Yoylite's power and concluding she doesn't get super strength or durability? (Probably because she didn't know how to actually strengthen her physicals with her power until much later?)
I mean, Leafy has consistently withstood being in space without freezing to its near-absolute zero temperatures, not to mention how that one moment where she burnt from being in the desert in BFDIA 22 is PIS due to her being able to survive being in the desert in more episodes (Particularly the last 4 BFB episodes) without much of an issue. Of course, she still dies to Firey's fire given her nature as a plant, though with Grassy here not being affected by the universal thermostat, it's possible that it wasn't turned to the maximum/minimum temperatures for it to badly harm Grassy. After all, all we have to work with is a single image and it's unknown how much they turned the dial.I’m in agreement, at worst it’s just a weakness for Leafy in specific and just doesn’t gain that resistance.
It still wasn't confirmed if this is a black hole despite resembling one, so I'm still kinda iffy on this.Evil Leafy having Black Hole creation (and frankly, objects having resistance to stuff like Deconstruction it too as we see them go inside her black hole with no effect. Would this make Four and One’s resistance to Deconstruction layered then as objects are effected by Black Hole the character whilst in comparison those two aren’t?)
None of this is really a counter. Two’s physicals can be lower than his powers yet can use their powers to amp themself. Also, One learning to use her powers to strengthen herself was mentioned in the Diamond_Drone post you replied to lolWhat would be of Two using their power to strengthen themselves, then? I mean, to me it looks similar to the one stated literally Black Hole’s brother in TPOT 23. Along with similarly we see the same Saturn like Planet with the same design as in BFDIA 25. So they are taking some design stuff into consideration, likely indicating it probably is. But fair enough, would a possibly rating work then?It still wasn't confirmed if this is a black hole despite resembling one, so I'm still kinda iffy on this.
Tbf we don’t give Black Hole Black Hole Physiology due to his consistencies, so his brother may follow the same logic of not being a “real” black holeI mean, to me it looks similar to the one stated literally Black Hole’s brother in TPOT 23.
Ehh, not too sure. I feel like we’d need to see more of BH’s brother contradicting stuff like BH himself to put em with the same logic too. Also, did just find a statement by the animator of the scene itself that it was a black hole. (They also animated the wormhole scene in TPOT 23 weirdly enough too.)Tbf we don’t give Black Hole Black Hole Physiology due to his consistencies, so his brother may follow the same logic of not being a “real” black hole
That block Two punched still survived being hit by Two's amped power, and Saw's blade was still able to cut through it, meaning that scaling is still possible. Even if it looked like Two wasn't using their full power, they still felt exhausted after amping themselves whereas One wasn't exhausted from repairing the timeline instantly, and given how Two is hundreds of times stronger than One, physical scaling would still be possible.None of this is really a counter. I agree that Two was using their power in that scene since they literally had a “powering up” moment right before the punch. Saw would, at best, still downscale the feat by a lot (since Two was applying blunt force with the surface area of their fist while Saw was just cutting it using the much smaller area of their blade) and, at worse, it could be considered an outlier without more feats of scaling to the Algebralians’ powers’ strength. That block Two punched still survived being hit by Two's amped power, and Saw's blade was still able to cut through it, meaning that scaling is still possible.
