There's no way they're waiting a whole nother year to finally do this fight. The most they'll do is allude to some feats in the movie like "even if Aang could hypothetically do something like [movie feat] it wouldn't be enough."

Also for a marvel vs dc fight which wasnt done in a long time since last one, they actually did a good job, especially for a bit more variety besides just punching like bricks and a good ending from the winner to the loser
If they done these comic book fights more spread out and on this quality even slightly, it wouldnt have had backlash years ago

Yeah but if they'd want to use any footage from that movie they'd have to wait even longer. They've never brought up feats or abilities that the vast majority of people haven't had a chance to even see. They even used the One Punch Man webcomic for Tatsumaki's feats despite the manga not reaching that part yet.

Prime should probably win. He’s immune to having his history changed due to being a temporal anomaly, can’t be paradoxed away, can’t be sealed, and his retcon powers probably are keyed higher than what mid-godly regen can come back from (Simon’s level of regen). He also has his own immortality, too.

Actually they gave Sentry a regeneration to the atomic level...Simon got regeneration the informational level.
And you forget that Simon has acausality and trascends causality, i don't think the retcon punch will rewrite his histor.
Also is not like Simon won't kill him, won't be the first enemy that is immune to his history being changed (more like, fate and causality, Anti-Spiral is a being of pure information and thoughts, and is unbounded by causality and fate, and Simon still killed him entirely without any way of him coming back).
There is also Otoko No Jouken thing.
Honestly it is probably just a Kyle vs Simon in the final stages but through out all of the fight.

It's very likely that they argue that Aang can use Energy Bending against the Traveler just so it doesn't seem like such a stomp just like how they argued that Ruby's Silver Eyes could work on Maka's Black Blood.

We have high tiers being 1% of a 900 Zettatons feat and lets say Traveler was like in that tier 1 years ago and now its scaling to the 900 Zettatons feats himself
(We need to still applied say chainscale)
