Probably. But you could amend Zab's statement with a *frequent/regular suicide is pretty out-of-character without infantalization warping his mind. There are still cases like arc 2 or the end of arc 3.

He never uses a drug package besides when Infantilized. Subaru won't kill himself unless something he can't live without has been lost. He would kill himself to bring back most of his friends, for example.
