A train crashes into a tree - Yukari vs Exdeath

Inconclusive, OR: Yukari uses the power of BFR and transports him to the Thomas the Tank Engine-verse where he will suffer an eternity from dead memes

Not sure if either side could quite use BFR to their advantage. Yukari could escape via boundaries, and Exdeath via Void.

Can Yukari counteract petrification?

"Petrification is considered to be a sub-category of transmutation, it forcibly turns the target into a statue of stone or other inorganic material. Generally petrification can be considered to be a very broken ability, as it ignores conventional durability. Being able to withstand a nuke won't exactly save your body from being turned into stone, after all."

Does Exdeath's petrification work instantly and stone-ify the whole body instantly as well? I'd wager that Exdeath's instant kills actually are more useful than petrification here, unless said petrification is instant action and also works at range.

Yukari has other hax besides just BFRing of course, although going by profiles, Yukari's hax is more impressive.

Exdeath's OHK is pretty much instant, like any other FF character's death spells.

You mind telling me how she knows that the ability will OHK her when they don't have prep time?

Precog. Or the basic part where she always hides in her gaps in the beginning of combat. And I also question if that's his go-to ability.

You're pulling on straws here. She makes a gap beneath her and gets away and bombards him from a hidden place. Is that really the typical playstyle he uses?

No one still answered whether or not his petrification is instant. And if it is, does he use it right at the beginning ?It looks like it's his best chance.

Base Exdeath seems to have 2 abilities that do it.

Delta Attack: Moderate damage with a possibility of petrification

White Hole: Instant death on a target, with instant petrification if they resist the kill.

Personality-wise, he might hold off on using White Hole due to his arrogance. But when he decides he's fighting an equal opponent he'd likely start utilizing it and other Void-oriented powers.

In that case, my votes prolly still on Yukari, unless Exdeath can use White Hole on Yukari as she snipes from a universe away with 5-A trains.

Well then I vote for Yukari. I'm not sure if he can dodge the danmaku but her BFR or sealing should be enough.

Her danmaku is just energy blasts right? He can just use meteor to counter that. Also he has BFR too.

Btw, why does it say that Yukari resisted Death Manipulation via the Saigyou Ayakashi's effect, when it doesn't have death manipulation in the first place? It only has mind control and Soul manipulation.

Death Manipulation via Soul Manipulation I guess. But there definitely was a miscommunication there.

They're two different Hax. That's like saying the dementors in Harry Potter can kill anyone when they kiss you, when all it does is consume your soul, and nothing that involves death.

Except that consuming one's soul usually entails, y'know, death. Death Manipulation, especially in RPGs, tends to go unexplained. Just "boom you die". When they ARE explained, it's usually Soul Manip.

Touhou isn't an RPG. And the only ability I see from the Tree that involves killing people is draining life force, which isn't Death manipulation.
