Adaptation and Reactive Evolution For Dragon Physiology (Genshin Impact)

I want to ask a little, kukulan stated that they were able to transform into a stronger body to survive until now, which means that kukulan is really able to evolve, like what kukulan did where he was able to change his form into a human and it didn't take long.

doesn't this meet the requirements for reactive evolution?
Just to be clear, are these the SAME dragons, and they've lived for a very long time?
Or are they talking about their ancestors?

The experiment logs from before specifically talked about offspring adapting.

And that second thing is shapeshifting.

its still overtime process and it doesnt give them new set of abilities and power like what RE does so nope
i think it does provide them new abilities or take away (vishaps) based on circumstances, but it is still too slow for qualifying for RE and scope is also not vast enough

Yeah, kukulan is a dragon that has been around for a long time, he is the brother of xiuhcoalt the dragon king of the sovereign. he managed to adapt and evolve to fit themselves into the new world order, that's why he explained the concept of evolution because dragons are indeed capable of evolving.

Vishap is only lower hierarki the dragon

Isn't it sometimes from a feat will get some abilities. Here Kukulan's position is able to change himself because of his evolutionary ability, shapeshifting is just part of that evolutionary ability.

but yeah, I've explained everything I know, if that can't get RE I'll accept it if it's just adaptation

There is no evidence that it lasts long, Kukulan was even able to instantly transform himself, to prove the statement he gave to the little saurians that they were able to transform.

First scan talks abt evolution going step-by step
Video where he transforms is just shapeshifting

this is exactly the scan im adressing about step by step evolution which doesnt give RE
I think, What Kukulan means is that the changes are due to their adaptation to the environment, not step by step. Because the environment changes, they also evolve.

If it's the same dragon gaining new abilities and power overtime to adapt then that could be Reactive Evolution, although a minor case it seems.

It says on the page that it can be over a long time, I just thought they were only passing things on to their offspring.

So as long as it's made clear that it's not useful on the fly, then I think it's fine.
