Aku (Samurai Jack) vs Hades (Kid Icarus)

They seem about even to me, but I'd give it to Aku for being quicker to take a fight seriously and go for the kill. Additionally, Hades is not one to resort to light magic, which could have been his saving grace.

I'd give this to Aku as he seems to be less arrogant and more likely to land a killing blow, Hades does have Light Magic as @Jordan states but he's nont likely to use it at all.

Does Aku have a soul? Can't Hades just use his soul manipulation/void manipulation and call it a day?
Edit: Also, the goddess of water is able to harm him, as well as pretty much any god/mystical power, so wouldn't Hades be able to beat him light magic or not?
