Saiyans are the best thing at his disposal as long as he kept them loyal. Business wise it was a dumb decision but in Z it was understandable since he feared their potential

I think Beerus just made a suggestion to Frieza, the Broly film still maintained the idea of Frieza being a crazy person who wanted to destroy Planet Vegeta, in addition to his fear of the super Saiyan legend

It's an arc after Majin Buu, it's canon for the anime super and manga super, because it's Akira Toriyama's plot, there's still the fact that there's no adaptation for the manga ( the same thing happened with the Broly movie )
My dude, the Super anime is not canon, it is a continuation of DBKai, not of Akira's work(the DB manga), so of it is canon to the DB Manga, it can't canon to the DBS Anime without proof
