I helped with a Sailor Moon vs Cardcaptor Sakura blog some months ago and after that was released (we had Usagi lose it) he said we were "dishonest" about Sailor Moon. He's always come off as being some sort of authority for SM and frankly I've never liked his attitude

We did yeah to try and cover both as much as possible. Should say I mainly helped with Sakura's side. On Moon's I only touched feats from seasons 1 and 2 from the OG series. She was largely handled by 3 other friends that worked on it

I feel like "significant" power-ups without explicit multipliers should be treated as >=2x increases, considering how 2x increases are treated in the series.
EDIT: In fact, apparently, even a three-times increase is "simple".

What ever came of that Piccolo scan, where he claimed that instead of a mere doubling or tripling of his power he experienced a power increase of "double his volume" or something like that?

I dunno. It's non-canon anyway—comes from the Jump Gold Selection 4: Dragon Ball Z Anime Special.
 
Dragon Ball SD would be really fun to get into, if it wasn’t for the fact that half of the manga is unavailable
 
The only techniques Frieza has that upscale his physicals are the Death Saucers (Obvious since they're just Kienzan reskins) and the Death Crasher (which he used to clash against a fully charged Kamehameha from a dude who's stronger than him, but I don't remember if this was filler or not).

Because there's no such "rule" in the first place. In fact, the ability to significantly boost one's power through a single technique is an exception in the verse, not a rule. Made up "rules" don't count Null.

That does not in any way imply that all Ki users must "downscale" from their attacks. We also already have plenty of evidence that their physicals scale to them just as well.

I mean, not all charged attacks or special moves do so though, Raditz was utterly bewildered by Goku and Piccolo raising their PL despite having Double Sunday.
 
They also sort of.... tank Ki blasts as well, most of them in fact. Unless you can argue for split-durability (you can't), this argument is pointless.
