The more feared a devil is, the more its stats and powers developed, meaning 2 similarly feared Devils are comparable and if one is more feared, it's stronger. It's weird to Me that sometimes it seems Pochita and denji never communicate, across part 1 pochita talked with denji about hot girls (he thinking angel is a girl btw) or about nayuta in his dreams, and a few times in part 2

Generally it's just denji talking to him, Pochita not answering

Really think pochita should had a talk with denji after the aging devil arc, like saying what he thinks of what happened, what's happening and what will happen, genueily think that across part 2 Pochita had countless reactions of "are you for real denji?" To all that happened to denji in part 2, and how he contributed to his own suffering with those desires of being chainsaw man

Pochita could had talked about Lil'd idea of a hearth transplant that separates them, Denji may had not agreed at first, but he's not such an asshole to force his best friend to stay as a prisoner in His body for his own desires

Character with 10000 power level is stronger than character with 1000 power level

In chainsaw man, devil feared by 10000 people is stronger than devil feared by 1000 people, or 10x more feared by the general public

The fear scaling generally affects AP and speed, but can make their haxes stronger, fodder devil's sometimes don't even have haxes, but it's get to a point where primal devils have insta win haxes like stopping time or sending you to hell

As Devils embody the fear of a concept, the more feared that concept is, the more powerful the Devil becomes. Even a relatively minor boost in fear can massively increase a Devil's strength and the effects of their abilities.

This does not only apply to people directly fearing the concept itself. Fear of mental imagery or situations connected to that concept also counts. For example, a person may not fear a car by itself, but fearing being run over and dying by a car would still connect back to the fear of cars, and would therefore empower the Car Devil.

Because of this, once a Devil is more feared than another Devil, their AP and Speed should surpass that Devil's general level of power. However, this does not mean everything automatically scales. A Devil's special abilities can be completely disproportionate to their body's strength, so neither the physicals nor special abilities of a more feared Devil automatically scale above the special abilities of a less feared Devil.

IDK about that, we did see Pochita talk to Denji quite a few times, but the point is more that Denji living his life is showing Pochita his dreams. Pochita's own dream was to receive a hug, which Denji gave him, and then his new dream was for Denji to live a normal life and die a normal death. Once Denji did have that new status quo in part 2, it's when we receive the sequence of Pochita asking what his next dream will be, which then led to Denji's downward spiral when he said that he still wants to be Chainsaw Man.

Denji being Chainsaw Man and Denji living a normal life were always incompatible, which is why Pochita did the big self munch at the end. It's because he knew Denji would continue to suffer no matter what, he had the crappiest but best kind of brain where no matter how much he's suffering or fulfilled, he'll always want more. Pochita would always see Denji chasing new dreams, but Denji would then never have that normal life.

In essence, it's Pochita breaking their contract, not Denji.

Even if you believe Oregon scaling is shaky, Denji has other scaling lines that could achieve a similar result. Regardless, it would obviously be a 4/10 for those who wanted Yuji to win, but not today baby!

From what I've seen so far, it's ranging from people loving it to people saying it's the worst DB episode yet. Most common reaction is people saying the result was fair but the scaling was really shitty for what they allowed (Denji scaling to stuff that literally bodied him and poison resistance) and what they kept out (Other things Yuji could've potentially scaled to that were used in previous episodes). Basically I've seen a lot of people saying they were really generous with Denji's scaling and what he could do while being more reserved for Yuji. This isn't even JJK circles either I saw a lot in the chainsaw man circles also.

Granted this is me taking it from reddit so I haven't checked other circles beyond it

I can get saying DB wanked Yuji's speed (I mean they could've done it more and it wouldn't have meant shit anyways cause he'd cap out at Relativistic) but what the hell do they mean downplayed Denji's. What did they want from him MFTL?

I think they're referencing the 10 second lowball for the spear feat, when going panel by panel, it would be bare minimum 7 seconds.

They scale him to Yoru's summoning speed and that shit is nearly MFTL by our values
