Genuinely speaking I don't think this would've been as bad if they just scaled Denji off anything other than the Oregon sword and Gun Goddess. There's other things they could've scaled him to and he still would've had the stat advantage.
That and JJK fans being JJK fans and getting pissed that their agenda failed them

To be fair, the fearmongering and the assured victory they set up for Yuji was definitely their downfall. They had it looking like it was not close at all. I had a feeling from the get go that things would go south for them because of that.

While i dont really partake in JJK powerscaling as much as CSM (mostly because a good 70% of the discourse is endlessly debating wich mid tier beats wich mid tier), I genuinely enjoy both series and was okay with any side winning.
I was genuinely surprised by them capping JJK at Low 7-B and MHS+ (for everyone except Dabura), since there's a dozen anime/manga feats that can reach up to 6-C when highballed. I was also surprised they didnt even use the EM wave reaction feat for Sukuna, as it would also not contradict the speed cap, so i get why the fans would feel like their series was underestimated.
The Denji scaling imo mostly makes sense, but i'd rather just scale Denji to >>>100% Gun devil ramming KE or Falling's 7-B+ feat. If his durability wasnt so inconsistent there would be no problems in scaling him to higher ends. Luckily he has a relativistic to FTL speed feat he himself performed, but they also rubbed dirt on the wound when they said "We'll lowball it to 10 seconds".

Yup, people forget CSM's church was wrecking havoc with Fire devil's help and that Yoru was trembling in her boots in the face of a Primal.
Only for her to get like 2 powerups/fear boosts, contracts and then be confident on beating Falling's ass, only to get matched by a Pochita who could dodge/block parry her using Gun Devil's 100% potential after weaponizing it along with surviving and matching attacks with a greater cost than Gun Goddess.

Fairs. Haven't reread CSM in a while so forgot about that. Maybe I should. Though maybe I'll just skip the ending cause it's like partially engraved in my mind cause I read it like 5 times hoping I missed something
I'm also surprised they didn't try to make it seem closer than it was. Was expecting them to give them both tier 6 stuff and for speed to be the ultimate deciding factor.

I find it weird, because i'd much rather powerscale a series with a clear cut near lightspeed statement for top tiers than get FTL to nearly every character entirely through fancalcs and multipliers, specially when it's pretty inconsistent or unlikely for the setting.

It's more so Yoru getting stronger and climbing up to Pochita's level physically. I don't believe Pochita got any additional buffs since the Chainsaw Man apocalypse. It's a major plot point that Yoru got stronger than what Death had anticipated because of the war between America and the Soviets, while Pochita remained at the level he previously was.
Despite that, we still have Falling Devil stuff and as a perk we can definitely get Pochita's chainsaws to Oregon level with some reasoning I've received. With this scaling the results don't really change at all, only the fact that it was much, much more foundation.

If i had to assume i'd say Pochita was still holding back pre Nucear Yoru since she wasnt as much of a threat and Denji had feelings for Asa. Maybe later on he locked in.
At worst he could be like 7B+ physically with possibly High 6-C Chainsaws in Dura/AP (even if the fact Yoru broke his chainsaws with GG before still makes it inconsistent if we assume his power stagnated.)

Pochita got dumpstered by the Gun Goddess shot (he was fine trust me) but even afterwards he was still crawling around and directly spat out Aging Devils blood when offered. THEN when the stronger Yoru showed up he's just instantly matching her even when she's throwing all of Hell at him

He never got statued by it is the thing. He was facing the complete opposite direction and turned his head, noticing it at the very last moment before it hit him. It's almost exactly similar to the Aging Devil scene where he becomes aware of the bullet and then just sighs. This is also incredibly consistent considering that at this point in the story Pochita and the Aging Devil are stated to be relative.
The fact that he did not attack Yoru and went begging for blood should be strong enough to say that he was holding back. Regarding the chainsaws, he would either get flat scaling or upscale to it if we do end up agreeing that the attack scales to them, considering that he can overpower a swing from it, which by all means is realistically AP.
Then there is the Michigan Sword, which we do not even see, implying that he either destroyed it or overpowered it during his fight with Yoru.

Meh, that's kinda like equating Yoru to the Gun Goddess physically instead of it being it's own attack. His regeneration, tactics and skill were hard carrying him against her. Even Yoru states that Denji is no-where near as skilled as Pochita is.

Closest thing to a statement of Pochita being implied to getting stronger from each arc is that Yoru said they are getting more feared everyday, which makes sense as the apocalypse is becoming more common, but the upscale may seem too much for just an implied overtime boost, I also don't see that Yoru got physically stronger from aging devil to early war devil arc:

I mean, would you say Gun Goddess Yoru is stronger than EOS Yoru when she's using full on states and populations to power up her attacks? Pochita did get mulched by Yoru's state swords, but he was in nowhere near as bad a state as Gun Goddess left him att. I don't think Pochita's success was really about him skill-diffing Yoru throughout the fight when. Well Yoru's not that bright!
He was just being hit with stronger attacks throughout that fight from a more empowered Yoru compared to Yoru when she did Gun Goddess

Actually that is true, Chainsaw Man was att described as a fear as common as Aging or Death, so maybe Pochita did just get some fear boost during the final fight

Even then, I do not think it is a stretch to say that Pochita was taking her far more seriously in that final act and actually had a valid supply of blood to regenerate from, unlike in the Aging Devil arc.
He still lost because he refused to use E.E. but all in all the basis for saying he received a power up is weak.
This is true, but again, not enough to say he would be durable enough to tank a Gun Goddess bullet.

Yes actually, if you assume that he blitzes, Gojo cannot extend the range of his Infinity, so Denji can activate his throat goat and swallow him whole.

I can definitely understand where you are coming from, but IIRC most of the attacks Pochita took from Yoru tore him apart, including simple Gun Gauntlet shots. Sure he took far less damage but that ultimately has more to do with the physics behind the attack, a high-speed K.E. bullet versus a chainsaw whip. You get what I mean.

Oregon state has a weight of 68.79762 Trillion Tons (Class P) so if Yoru LS scales to lifting it, and pochita clashing His chainsaws to it, then he scales to it, that LS to AP is around large mountain level
But the swords AP specifically can also be measured from destroying the state of Oregon, or the KE of it travelling to Japan, does aren't just weight, so the pochita clashing his chainsaw wouldn't scale to it
Also, narratively, if gun goddess is still far stronger than pochita, why didnt yoru used it again? Would a new gun goddess we stronger? Cuz can't tell if yorus bangs also got stronger alongside her nuclear weapons boost (as gun goddess comes from gun gaunlet)

Gun Goddess specifically came from when she also sacrificed the trigger fingers of every member of the American Rifle Association to transform the Statue of Liberty, but I'm considering the state swords and nuclear punch to be stronger given that Yoru sacrificed whole states and bigger populations for those attacks while she was empowered by the fear of war and nuclear weapons. Nuclear Punch is the only attack during the final war that did comparable damage to Pochita as Gun Goddess considering how it left him, but after that we get the Denjiman transformation so ultimately Gun Goddess messed him up the most even though it was far earlier.

I don't believe that the sword scales to its mass considering the anti-feats. But regardless its AP should still scale to its destruction considering that it had sentimental value to Yoru and she created it because she was being pushed into a corner.
Pochita swinging and overpowering the force of the sword is AP for his chainsaws at the very least.
Maybe we could upscale her normal weapons to it, considering she considered them more viable than using the Gun Goddess again.

Pochita att wasn't even suffering from an extended battle or anything, he did take some hits from Aging and Octopus but he also ate a few devils, so Gun Goddess really did screw him up way more than a whole lot of stuff
