Thought this would be a fun little meme matchup that is prolly not a stomp given a few circumstances. Theres also a pretty sensible backstory for a matchup like this.

Speed is equalized, D is 3-A and can go Full Vampire Form, while Monika is Low 2-C. Fight takes place somewhere in post apocalyptic Tokyo.

After having lost her lover long ago in the war, Monika wanders around aimlessly until she comes across The Hunter known as D. D having not been provoked, does not become immediately hostile, and thus Monika begins to follow him around as he wandered the wastelands of 12,090 AD. Over the course of their travels, the man seems cold and distant, yet she feels she's getting closer to him. He displays for her no emotion, often disregarding her, yet shows her a strange and silent form of care, as he protects her from the many monsters they face in the wastelands. Originally considering her world to be a joke and a facade, this man despite his silence, had truly touched her heart. She felt he had treated her as a true and real living being, more than anyone she had known before. Monika finds herself becoming attached and infatuated with the man whom she has been following, and one day attempts to make him her's.

D attempts to let go of her, declaring that he isn't worth coming after. This life of wandering loneliness was all she would be following him towards. There was no paradise for her to go to with him. Can he convince the woman to let him go and back down, or will it devolve into a fight as Monika gives into her obsessive nature?

Gonna write a more "Bitter sweet" ending since Dante went the tragic route.

"...How can you love me? You don't even know me..." The Hunter looked down to the woman with that ever persistent expressionless gaze. His cloak flutters in the wind, and his hair blew past his unearthly features.

"I know you. I know everything about you. Even with how little you speak, i've learned so much about you D... I know you lost something important to you, didn't you? I know theres a hole in your heart... Let me fill that hole. I'll make you open up to me if I have to." Monika's voice became increasingly hostile as her malice radiated from her body.

"...Hunters become hunters when they lose something irreplacable to them. Nothing will ever replace what i've lost... Unfortunately not even you." Monika suddenly felt chills run down her spine. A primal sense of dread overcame herself as D's eyes turned a scarlet red. The Dhampir Hunter suddenly had attained the full features of a true Noble. "This is who I really am, Monika... It was how I was born, and it was how I will forever be." D motions to the empty wasteland of sand and dying trees as he spoke once more. "This... This is what you'd be following me towards... I cannot lead you to the paradise you desire. I cannot give you the love that you yearn for."

"I've lost something I cannot replace too!... Don't be so insensitive. I've lost my love from back then, and I know I can't bring them back no matter how hard I try... Thats why I want you. Around you the pain disappears... Please. Love me."

Suddenly a strange object appears in D's right hand. A thing that resembled a book, composed of material ether... As he grabbed the object Monika's vision suddenly went white.

Monika found herself in bed, awakening next to her lover. The same lover she had always had, alive and healthy as ever. "The morning is always so much better, when I wake up to that face of your's..." She said.

The woman went outside much later, taking in a breath of fresh air as she stepped out the house. Despite how much of a wasteland it was, Monika found beauty in her surroundings. It reminded her of what her life used to be... But she knew that was long behind her now. Her lover would be with her forever. An eternity together, a paradise in the wastelands... She looks off to the horizon and sees a man off in the distance. A man in all black, wearing a wide brimmed traveler's hat. "Hmmm?..." The man suddenly walked off, just as her lover came out and spoke to her. "Something the matter?" They said. Monika replied. "No... It's just... I could have sworn I saw someone out there." She scratches her head in confusion. Well it didn't matter to her either way. Whoever it was, it wasn't anyone she knew.

D stood over a dead forest hill, looking over Monika's home beginning to walk off as soon as he saw the woman's lover come out alongside her. A raspy voice suddenly spoke out from the Hunter's left hand. "You've gone soft D... Falling in love with that girl?" "Silence..." D responded dully. He continued walking off into the pale moonlight, looking back one last time... He then turned back forward, wandering off, never to be seen by her again.
