My guy, please tell me why they would be specifically talking about the theoretical limits of temperature, in an alien substance, that they just discovered?...
You misinterpreted what I said, which was that it was saying that Argent plasma exceeds previously accepted limits for the state of matter, not the substance itself. I don't know how you read what I wrote as that.
It literally says the temperatures WITHIN the plasma go beyond the theoretical limits of temperature.
It doesn't, and to be clear what you're asking for is to suggest that this newly found substance that they are experimenting with exceeds the temperatures of the Big Bang yet the very planet they stand on is remarkably not incinerated by the very existence of this substance.
I also want to further clarify that plasma itself, in theory can reach planck temperatures.
It literally cannot, the Big Bang does not even reach the planck temperature.
We do however know, that the energy is used to power Hell, and Urdak which are multiversal higher dimensional constructs
This doesn't make any commentary on how the resource itself is still decidedly not infinite in quality, the entry we're arguing about temperature with says this.
and powers the crucible, which can corrupt ALL realms in existence
And how does the Crucible do this? Is there any explanation on the how? The why? The mechanism of which it achieves this? What the vague corruption the talking tree describes is?
No? Sounds to me like this information is incredibly useless.
Simply because they can't utilize the energy to it's full potential does not mean that their energy usage, with their limited amount of knowledge is it's full potential.
Do you understand what infinity is? You can't cherry pick feats here, it literally would not matter how horribly inefficient the UAC was at utilizing Argent Energy, the batteries they would use to power things through it would not run out
because it would be infinite, not 12,000 megawatt-hours, not 30,000 megawatt-hours, infinity.
Because that's how infinity works.
By the very nature of them only holding a certain amount of power within them, you cannot in good faith tell me that the resource is qualitatively infinite, you just cannot.
coincidentally it goes beyond our physics
Spirituality and the occult tend to not abide by traditional physics, this is a shocker to nobody.
It's literally from Hell which we seem to understand is infinite in size, it is also renewable, this says nothing as to the quality of it.
To reiterate, does the line and movement of Samur meet our site definition of Teleportation.
"The ability to move instantaneously from one location to another without physically occupying the space in between."
I do not think so. His movement was not instantaneous and had a line of his essence of sorts traveling in between the two points.
Can we agree that this movement does not meet our definition of Teleportation?
I really cannot say, the way it's depicted within the fight shows him disappearing and reappearing through some mechanism that isn't just traditional flight, we see the essence for where he's traveling but if he was just flying from place to place why must he be not physically present to do so.
It could be a mechanic to justify you not being able to hit him when he does move, it could be the afterimage of a short distance warp of some kind, he could be moving so fast the Slayer cannot see him when he does this, I do not know.
Either way, I don't think it dismisses the suspension of disbelief we are supposed to have when the Slayer who is supposed to be matching them in speed 1-to-1 is incapable of reaching other dimensions through physical travel and is always portaled somewhere, for someone very fast he's really not demonstrated to be as such.
would it not make the most sense to wait until Doom: The Dark ages releases to sort this all out?
That would probably be for the best, yes. I don't know why a thread on this subject had to be hastily made.
