Father versus daughter

Considering that she and her suit constantly evolve and deal with the void powers Kass have on a daily basis? She murders voidborn every single day, can detect danger, create void shields and etc. She is just overall superior to him.

I agree with schro here, Kai'sa has the advantage with invis even with kass's teleportation. They both have the same hax and resistances. But Kai'Sa just has a bit more.

Kassadin's nether-blade is not of the void, and it is used quite frequently to slay voidling creatures.

If we're going by game mechanics (and lore implications), Kassadin has resistance to void energy as well, and he's not exclusively using void energy in his kit.

They'd probably be at an impasse, but if they can both hurt eachother effectively, Kass as the advantage due to the functions of his force pulse and riftwalk.

kass used ancient technology and magic to become the ultimate void hunter

kai used the void to become the ultimate void hunter

tbh, it probably comes down to who is the better fighter over-all.

Kai'sa excels in range, and as we see in the comic, she is competent in close-quarters and can hold her own against voidlings momentarily--but has been seen overpowered. Kassadin easily surpasses in melee due to his combative feats against many void creatures always taking place at such a range--not to mention he can evade with such precision to avoid hits by a small degree while landing fatal blows. He's not entirely disadvantaged against Kai'sa with range either due to having ranged attacks of his own, and a shield to block her attacks (ignoring game mechanics having her Q [which is still void energy and would be blocked via lore mind you] physical damage)

Kai'sa has to keep out of range to win, but 1) Kassadin has resistance to void energy and a shield to nullify attacks, 2) He still stands a decent chance at range due to his technology, shield, and magic, and 3) He has a gap-closer via rift-walk.

At range, it's free game, at melee, Kass almost certainly wins every time.

Tho in the new story Kai'Sa can easily deal with Voidborns both in meelee and from afar. She uses her light/plasma blades as meelee. Plus, her armor can evolve and reshape mid battle, she has enhanced senses and other things. She also blitzes the voidborn and showed hints of intinctive reaction.

If she sees that he is her father and reveals herself, it would probably end in a draw/incon.

does kai'sa know what happend to kassadin and would kassadin recognise kai'sa?

edit just looked it up her voicelines go from "huh weird im thinking about my dad when i see him" to "Oh shit dad your back"

so kinda toss up but i think over an entire fight they would probably recognise eatchother

Her personality in-game is softer than in the lore. Lore wise she is colder and way more... Animalistic. She also doesn't hesitate to kill humans if they refuse to run away from the Void.

yeah being stuck in the void will do that to a girl

btw how in the **** did she survive the timeless void with a ******* army of evil monsters
