CV can be proud of themselves for making this far, ngl. Hope they got qualified for the next WC again. But, Idk about their GK considering he's like 40.
It's not even as if Argentina played differently than what they were doing throughout the tournament (which is the bigger issue)
Any other keeper (Zidane lmao) and this would be 3-0 in 60 minutes
Austria is the only other team to test them defensively and they failed to take advantage
Massive respect for Cape Verde though
Finished the campaign without losing in 90 minutes despite facing Spain, Uruguay and Argentina
So now it turns out that scoring fewer goals than your opponent means losing. Losing is being dominated; not winning isn't losing. Cabo Verde simply had bad luck, Argentina didn't win, nobody sees Argentina as the winner, people just respect Cabo Verde more after this match.
I don’t think Argentina performed badly.
They were hard decent if being honest, vozinha was just in god mode today.
Cape Verde’s two goals looked like a ‘try your luck’ typa shot. The first goal had an xG of 0.05, and the second was 0.03. Cabral aint hitting that type of bliss curl normally.
ATM, Columbia is leading on Ghana, what could possibly go wrong
