I think the home turf advantage for Hela is just too great. An awakened Thor couldn't even hurt her with a lightning bolt as thick as a sequoia tree. She didn't even get a bruise from what's quite possibly the strongest attack the MCU's seen so far!
As far as I'm concerned as long as Asgard exists she's invincible and her power can only go up.
