D4C has several meters of range, so if that's 10 meters, Jose's going to have a problem.

On the other hand, once Funny Valentine realizes the opponent's ability, he's going to town with dragging out alternate versions of himself. I see him overwhelming Jose Cruz with too many people for him to focus down.

Not really, he just makes his first self and himself super positive and then it's a 2 v 1 and so on and so forth.

Repelling Forces is a big help here, they can even lessen the load by charging themselves so then it turns from a "lol u ded" to "I immediately regret this decision" for the President.

Can't he only concentrate on one thing at a time? So if he gets enough attacks going at once, he can hit out Cruz quickly and with haste?

It's more that he can only focus on a few things, say like 2 or 3 with his particle ability. Something a normal person can do, also he maybe focusing but his Stand is able to still move around and block things for him.

He gets within 10 meters of Funny and then levitates him in the air. Now he can't go between 2 objects to use his alternate dimension ability. Of course this is after Cruz sees it a few times, but he'll put it together.

He can pull out D4C but Crying Girls matches if not exceeds D4C in power.
