Is it done with an actual attack or an ability? If its an actual attack then it would translate into AP, but if it was an ability it would likely be Hax such as Void Manipulation.

Depends on the Tier normally. If you're Tier 3 or higher, erasing something isn't really hax, its just AP. If you're Tier 6 or something, erasing something from existence is pretty hax.
Also, the method matters. Hitting something hard enough that its atoms are destroyed (lol fiction) is probably AP, while something like concept destruction is hax.
