Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

Not even that, i used the example of the cushion because it was all a setup for something, she instantly decided to turn it off once the whole thing didn't work.
There's not a cushion. It's an angelic spear she knows beyond a singular shadow of a doubt can permakill sinners.
Because she literraly is pretty much the only ******* character in the whole show who is actually good and is trying to do something good?
Thought this is a hyperbole because Emily exists, but they are both basically in the same level and are almost interchangeable.
Emily also ignores someone obviously suffering for like a day straight until told basically point blank that Pentious is suffering and not happy here. She's pretty gray too, except instead of sheer incompetence and never listening to anyone else except to always do the opposite of what they advise doing, Emily is an extremely neglectful person who can't see the forest for the trees.
I still don't think he couldn't go down there, not because he wasn't allowed, but because he was unable to go there.
Sinners can't leave pride ring because of a magical barrier, it makes sense that in a way
So Sera is just a genocidal maniac for no reason, eh? Because there's no fear of an uprising if they can't leave Pride. Hell, Charlie was not at all surprised when Vaggie could come with her to heaven despite thinking Vaggie was a sinner at that time. Sinners can leave Pride, they're just not allowed to.
Winners can't get out of heaven either.
Alex. Adam is a Winner. He led the people who went to hell to go kill Sinners. Winners can leave Heaven.
Now this feels like a gross oversimplification of Sir Pentious actions, he clearly did this for his friends too, not just for Cherry.
This is a verse that makes the potentially incredibly complex and interesting character of Adam as an exterminator of Sinners into an egotistical misogynistic asshole with half a brain rattling in his skull. If anything I'm undersimplifying it.
Okay let me see:
Charlie never uses her authority in any way.
Except to threaten Val and Vox in seperate occaisons.
Lucifer can't ******* DO ANYTHING.
Something nobody but Vox and his allies (and Vaggi I guess) knew ATT, it's why people assumed Lucifer hit Al with the ol' Smite.
Sera doesn't want to kill anyone and start a war.
I'd share how stupid this is from a story perspective, but Hazbin's story has more holes than a sponge...
Carmilla is basically being told "if you don't join me, you are against me" and she was compelled to help.
Yeah that's an anti-feat for her authority. She has angelic weapons out the ass and has them on her at all times. She could have just like, stabbed him.

There's not a cushion. It's an angelic spear she knows beyond a singular shadow of a doubt can permakill sinners.
Analogy.
The cushion is her having a button that can stop the train.

She literraly helped him when she noticed that was feeling the shit, stop treating this as if it was something so downright DIABOLICAL.

She was scared and she had her fears.
Thought to be honest, Heaven exists inside of Pride Ring so maybe that is the explanation.
Alex. Adam is a Winner. He led the people who went to hell to go kill Sinners. Winners can leave Heaven.
Adam is a ARCHANGEL, not a winner (it is at the same level of calling a demon to a sinner, not incorrect but with specifications).
This is a verse that makes the potentially incredibly complex and interesting character of Adam as an exterminator of Sinners into an egotistical misogynistic asshole with half a brain rattling in his skull. If anything I'm undersimplifying it.
What are you?a Adam fan...wait you probably are, but i didn't have any ammo to insult you because i haven't see you claim that he was morally good in any regard.
But in that case, then let me be honest and say...**** it, what will be the reason?
We know he isn't doing it for the sake of anyone, and even if he did (somehow) Charlie will still beat him in that regard, and you know why?"because i don't want a ******* massacre against your people you damn idiot"
I don't care how complex or interisting people want me to think Adam could be if his motivations were not sadistic, do you think that will make him better than Charlie just because he says that he is doing it to protect the people of Heaven?Something that is SERA'S OBJECTIVE BY THE WAY, and i don't think Sera is better than Charlie.
It is literraly the whole Hughie vs Billy Butcher thing, but people somehow say that Billy was outright in commiting genocide...at least i never saw anyone claim that Hughie was wrong for stopping him, fortunatly.

Except to threaten Val and Vox in seperate occaisons.
After one of them abused her friends, yeah.
Something nobody but Vox and his allies (and Vaggi I guess) knew ATT, it's why people assumed Lucifer hit Al with the ol' Smite.
Okay so what was the point of this?
I'd share how stupid this is from a story perspective, but Hazbin's story has more holes than a sponge...
No, it isn't, it was already clear that she only accepted the extermination out of fear and to protect her realm, not out of any bad feelings against hell (well, probably some, but still not outright wanting to cause a war).
Yeah that's an anti-feat for her authority. She has angelic weapons out the ass and has them on her at all times. She could have just like, stabbed him.
Oh yeah sure, try to stab the dude who is already loved by everyone in Hell (pride ring), that definitely won't make her a target of everyone's problems and definitely won't cause problems for her at all, yeah yeah.
Seriosly why do some of you think that killing Vox is actually a good idea?

Analogy.
The cushion is her having a button that can stop the train.
The cushion is having a safety on this gun that went off anyways.
She literraly helped him when she noticed that was feeling the shit, stop treating this as if it was something so downright DIABOLICAL.
It's diabolical because it took her THAT LONG TO NOTICE he was feeling like shit. As I said, Emily is an extremely neglectful person who can't see the forest for the trees. If she wasn't neglectful, it woulda taken her like an hour, maybe less.
She was scared and she had her fears.
Thought to be honest, Heaven exists inside of Pride Ring so maybe that is the explanation.
Ain't you one of those that thinks Heaven is bigger than hell?
Adam is a ARCHANGEL, not a winner (it is at the same level of calling a demon to a sinner, not incorrect but with specifications).
Those are not mutually exclusive. Just ask the Hazbin wiki. Also he was a human, he literally has to be a winner or sinner, there's no other place for him to exist as.
What are you?a Adam fan...wait you probably are, but i didn't have any ammo to insult you because i haven't see you claim that he was morally good in any regard.
Fanfiction does Adam better than anything Viv could possibly write. I think he's like... a 6/10 character. In fact 95% of Hazbin are 5s and 6s. Charlie included (She's also a 6/10, BTW)
But in that case, then let me be honest and say...**** it, what will be the reason?

That's a whole Lotta words not at all getting the point.

They made a potentially and easily complex character simpler and dumber than a cannon. Hence me saying that I'm undersimpifying it because complex motivations are just beyond Hazbin's writing even when the potential is slapping them in the face.
After one of them abused her friends, yeah.
Does that change the truth of that statement?
Okay so what was the point of this?

No, it isn't, it was already clear that she only accepted the extermination out of fear and to protect her realm, not out of any bad feelings against hell (well, probably some, but still not outright wanting to cause a war).
Which is why she put someone she knows hates Hell in charge of them. Yep.
She can literally just lie and say the angels had him assassinated.

The cushion is having a safety on this gun that went off anyways.
Why are you still using the gun analogy when it wasn't a gun?
It's diabolical because it took her THAT LONG TO NOTICE he was feeling like shit. As I said, Emily is an extremely neglectful person who can't see the forest for the trees. If she wasn't neglectful, it woulda taken her like an hour, maybe less.
How long did it took her to notice?because Sir Pentious was doing random shit to try and build a rocket to go to Hell, and again, you are ignoring that she still helped him either way.
Ain't you one of those that thinks Heaven is bigger than hell?
And i still think so, the thing is just very complicated how all of this works...MAGIC.
Those are not mutually exclusive. Just ask the Hazbin wiki. Also he was a human, he literally has to be a winner or sinner, there's no other place for him to exist as.
Yes yes yes, but still, he is a Archangel and the strongest human in the verse.
Fanfiction does Adam better than anything Viv could possibly write. I think he's like... a 6/10 character. In fact 95% of Hazbin are 5s and 6s. Charlie included (She's also a 6/10, BTW)
Yeah i will totally trust them on that part, if it wasn't for the fact that they also shit on almost every character on the verse, which is why i don't like most of Adam's fanfiction related to the show, because you have be grossly biased against him and everyone else for this to be better.

That's a whole Lotta words not at all getting the point.

They made a potentially and easily complex character simpler and dumber than a cannon. Hence me saying that I'm undersimpifying it because complex motivations are just beyond Hazbin's writing even when the potential is slapping them in the face.
All of you invented up this potential, YOU INVENTED THE POTENTIAL FOR THIS GUY.
When this guy, is the most simple concept ever deviced by humanity "the first ******* human" WOW, HOW COMPLEX OF A CONCEPT?I have never seen so much complexity in my whole life...no seriosly it isn't that much of a complex concept as you make it seem.
Does that change the truth of that statement?
It gives context.
People think Lucifer can use that authority he's got.
But we know he can't
Which is why she put someone she knows hates Hell in charge of them. Yep.
Adam was the leader of the militarity of Heaven, the exterminations are only 7 years, what, are you telling me that Heaven's own militarty existed only for 7 years?
She can literally just lie and say the angels had him assassinated.
...did you even read what you wrote?
Yeah, you shouldn't write this show at all.
Anyways, both Charlie and Emily are morally gray, cope seethe mald.
No, they are morally good and you can't proof the opposite.
You have to be stupid to think that somehow, WANTING PEACE BETWEEN REALMS, is morally gray, when no.
Morally gray is what Sera did, this is not morally gray.

...did you even read what you wrote?
Yeah, you shouldn't write this show at all.
For people in power? Yeah, lying is piss easy. Just look at Alastor, Vox, Val, Lucifer, Satan, Mammon...
No, they are morally good and you can't proof the opposite.
You have to be stupid to think that somehow, WANTING PEACE BETWEEN REALMS, is morally gray, when no.
Morally gray is what Sera did, this is not morally gray.
Thanos in the MCU wants to solve the eventual lack of resources in the galaxy, is he morally good?

There is a right and wrong answer here, and that's my point. Your end goal being a morally good thing doesn't mean any actions taken to get to said goal are good, hence why I refer to Emily and Charlie as morally neutral.

I saw someone comment this so I wanted to share

Do you guys think it would be absolutely hilarious if the reason the whole Lilith and Adam fight and break up happened because of a insignificant petty argument? Like maybe Adam ate one of the fruits/vegetables Lilith was keeping for the evening and he denies it so they fight :ROFLMAO: Imagine thats the entire reason this whole universe kickstarted
