Hero of Lore composite profile problems.

Making it short:

The profile is the composite of characters that beyond being alternate versions, have completely different powers, mentalities, skills and many are reoccuring in-between games and meet their alternate versions, so I doubt a composite is really warranted here.

Even if it was, the tiering is a big no. You can't make a composite of different characters and then give tier for the different composites. It would be like giving Link a tier for his different adventures, completely missing the point of a composite.

Not only that, but the abilities aren't even divided in-between keys.

Some stuff also lacks proper explanations, including:

  • Immortality type 9
  • Void Manipulation (The void magic is literally making an explosion of raw magic, and nothing to do with manipulating actual voids).
  • Soul Manip (Best I can find is soul steal, but it only slowly drains life energy. It could be assumed to drain the soul, maybe, but I'm pretty sure HP is equated with life energy).
  • Toon Force (Rather minor in what way? What has he done with it? Because wonky physics is hardly enough for it).
  • Duplication
  • Disease Manipulation
  • Probability Manipulation.
  • Matter Manipulation.

And the different abilities should be written on the profile itself too. There is a shitload that are just non-factors by simply being different ways of slapping the enemy in the face with a weapon, but anything noteworthy should be on the profile.

Adding all the abilities on the profiles was something that I requested a while ago but nobody responded... seeing how it is now fine to do so I can get to that right now.

Eternal Dragon of Time and his status as Death is Immortality Type 9

Void Manipulation comes from manipulating Element X which exists as nothingness and is described as "pure power" or just the Void which is further defined as nothingness

Soul Manipulation is doing direct damage to someone's spirit orb and Soul Steal. There isn't any way for the AE staff to give every monster a "soul" or a "soul meter" because that would be redundant so the only way to show it being a meaningful ability is to have it reduce HP as a result. Also, the game staff need not make fancy effects for everything

There exists a status effect called "Disease"

Probability Manipulation is for altering the luck of others. Luck Manipulation doesn't exist on this fandom anymore

Agreed. Any proposals? Like, idk, makeing them different profiles? The only one that seems to have a valid reason to have all the composite stuff is the currently last key, the Eternal Dragon of Time.

Dn gave an answer to most of them.

Still missing:

  • Immortality (just saying he has it is not an explanation (unless you meant that he has the reason on his profile already))
  • Toon Force
  • Matter Manipulation

Then whats the point of the composite to beginn with?
Link has separate profiles and a composite and so does Godzilla so I don't see why HoL shouldn't

either way the profile wasn't my idea to start with so I don't care what happens to it.

Its in the OP, isnt it?

Eternal Dragon of Time being the true form of Hero of Lore and the hero being a measly avatar is enough for Immortality Type 9.

Matter Manipulation is for atomic reconstructio

Toon Force is self-explanatory, but if you don't take it as valid then it's non-combat applicable anyways so idc

It's fine if Hero of Lore (Composite) gets deleted, I have refrained from editing it too often anyways, but it doesn't change the tiering of the characters so fine by me

However, listing all the abilities will take forever and eventually someone would need to transfer WarpForce and Hero smash to profiles.

Also Eternal Dragon of Time appears in both AQ and AQW and exists in MechQuest, WarpForce, and DragonFable so what are you going to do about that?

"Eternal Dragon of Time being the true form of Hero of Lore and the hero being a measly avatar is enough for Immortality Type 9."

Correct me if I am wrong, but that might just be avatar creation. Not saying that it cant be type 9, just saying that that might not be sufficient.

"Toon Force is self-explanatory, but if you don't take it as valid then it's non-combat applicable anyways so idc"

How is it selfexplanatory? Did I miss something like an example on his profile maybe?

Transcendental Immortality: Characters whose true selves exist independently from the plane where they can be killed.

Characters with type 9 have Avatar Creation nothing wrong with it

Immortality type 9 includes avatar creation, but not the other way around as far as I know. I think the "exist independently from the plane where they can be killed." is kinda important. In other words an abstract existance is far closer to type 9 immortality than just avatar creation.

Plane can just be another dimension, abstract existence is for concepts, nothing to do with planes of existence

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/The_Player_(The_Magic_Circle)

This guy's Type 9 is literally for the fact that it's a playable character

Either way, Eternal Dragon exists outside of all timelines

"abstract existence is for concepts, nothing to do with planes of existence" "Abstract Existence is the ability to embody an abstraction, such as a concept, thought, or an information, and being immortal thanks to it."

Its more than just concepts. They all have avatars and dont all have type 9.

No... beings with Abstract Existence don't all have avatars.

And you need to give reason for something, not go with what is most commonly done (argument by popularity and all).

I have read through a lot of them, I am sure you can too

"No... beings with Abstract Existence don't all have avatars."

The ones that want to interact with other characters in a physical form...

"And you need to give reason for something, not go with what is most commonly done"

for whome was this?

Which is not all them. And for you, again.

Because you failed to give a reason beyond saying that not all profiles have it.

"Because you failed to give a reason beyond saying that not all profiles have it."

Not sure what argument you are talking about...

My point about type 9 was that he just said "HoL is an avatar, so type 9", to which I responded "not all characters with avatar creation have type 9, thus it might not suffice", to then say that the "higher plane thing" is important, to which he replied that that might just mean higher D... which he never talked about or has proven... Untill he edited it while I was typeing (which I only just now saw)...

Why would I want to? Just link those pages on the propper profiles like it was done with Wolf (Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice).
I can do that later..

Anyways, OP suggested I list all the abilities on the profile and I'm showing why that's impractical. Yes some of the abilities are near duplicates but that makes up around 10% of the ability list sections alone. In the end it's still an insanely large amount to list and there are still class abilities, armor, and weapons.

Matter of fact, I still have not completely added weapon and armor abilities to the profiles yet because I don't have the time to look through thousands of pages.

Also I know I've been told a million times to stop editing my own comments but I literally did it a minute after I posted it

You.. can't post incomplete profiles.

If you didn't have time to do it, them put it in a sandbox and finish it over time.

Well, what are you going to do about it? It's 95% complete anyways and there's still the question of whether I should even have the liberty of adding the weapon abilities to the profiles because the weapons are shown to pretty much be cosmetic in the game with an exception of a select few which are already on the profiles. such as the Blade of Awe

And if the profile is established, then the mere fact that it's slightly incomplete doesn't warrant the right to just delete it on the spot or else I can go on a report-and-delete spree when games are updated.

There is no such thing as "established", nor did I say to delete it, but that is plain against the rules regardless.

Its not about time. Its not (rly) incomplete either. These things come with new keys. There are also a bunch of not translated stuff and its hard to keep track of the updates. There is (at least for Iruna) no site that is up to date that lists everything, which means that you have to look through many pages on the internet to find things that might not be up to date either, so its easy to miss things.

I also asked a contend mod if its fine if I update things over time because of this and they gave me a green light... so yeah

I didn't originally make the profile, don't look at me. I'm just the most frequent editor
