there was once this accepted thread that separated Perception blitz from Reaction blitz timeframes, Reaction blitz remaining as 0,1 to 0,2 seconds timeframes, but perception blitz being 0,002 seconds of timeframe (i guess applying to Average Human perception speed, it technically should be shorter timeframe for Superhuman or higher characters, but the original thread didnt specify that)
basically it refers to the distinction of Reaction blitzes being when Character A blitzes Character B, and Character B do see Character A attack coming but doesnt have enough time to move to dodge it, but still perceives the attack before it gets to him
while Perception blitz, is when the Character A blitzes Character B so hard that Character A couldnt even see the attack coming, usually supported if they claim that ´i couldn even see the attack coming!´´, or if initially Character B is not looking/is not aware of Character A presence around him, then Character A runs in front of Character B, at such speed that Character B couldnt perceive that Character A was running in front of him, not even noticing it even seconds later unless he later has a clue of Character A once running in front of him like his footsteps or something, or if it was an attack, realizing when they start feeling the pain of that attack
a more common example to real life is seeing a Movie going at even 60 frames per second, if you had 59 out of the 60 frames being a normal scenario with characters moving, While only 1 frame (0,01666 seconds) was fully green, entirely different to the rest of the frames, your average Human perception would still notice that there was an odd frame there, even if you couldnt perceive correctly and that 0,01666 second is way shorter than 0,2 second Human reaction speed
another form of accepted ´´perception blitz different to reaction blitz´´ is applying snail time when Character A blitzes character B, by moving so fast that in the frames he moves, Character B is completely static, so snail speed is applied to Character B, normally in this type of blitz Character B can perceive Character A attack until he gets hit
technically does Feats of cutting a character with a sword so fast that the sliced character couldnt ´´realize they were cut yet´´ also may count as perception blitz with the 0,002 timeframe?
