King, the ØÿôØÿØÿñØÿ¼Øÿ¬ØÿªØÿ┤ØÿÁ Man on Earth

Can you give me a better scan of him paralyzing the lizard in fear? He literally just states that someone else killed it while he covered his eyes, when do we see the monster become paralyzed?

Sounds like another guy I know name mr satan who took credit for beating the greatest monsters of all time and managed to be the only character not to die against either monster. despite being pathetically weak nearly everyone believed him... point being other characters have similar luck feats that doesn't give them supernatural luck

In the end king is extremely lucky, not really supernatural though his scenario can happen within the realms of possibility and nothing suggest his luck is the result of a power or ability

Let me put it like this you get supernatural luck either from statements of it being a power/ability. You can also get it by showings but those showing's have to break the laws of probability, what king does is ridiculous but still plausible.

You mean tongue stretcher? The lizard was startled by his appearance and king engine then the crowd calling him the strongest causing him to recognize the king, he wasn't even properly paralyzed after recognizing him simply dropped to his knees and begged forgiveness......

So your feat is the lizard being startled by his appearance and king engine then being frozen in fear as the crowd and himself recognized his reputation? (Not properly frozen either, stepping back as he realized who king was....)

edit So no the lizard recognized he wasn't ordianry due to his appearence and king engine then grew terrified as the crowd and himself recognized king....

Before the crowd cheered, he was still terrified of him. I said "without the knowledge of who he was initially."

Except terrified is a massive exaggeration he recognized him as a threat due to kings appearance and heart beat. He noted king was no ordinary man but didn't break down until he recognized him... This isn't an ability just a guy being surprised and fearful of an unknown opponent....Nothing suggest any sort of fear aura...

Again startled and fearful of the strange man suddenly appearing and giving off a vibe...He's not paralyzed by fear until the crowd starts cheering, before that noting the mans appearance and vibe that he's no ordinary man. He seems large, powerful based off the vibe (King engine) and his appearance but yeah thats not enough to be considered an aura of fear... Its a guy being impressed/startled by anothers appearance and vibe...

edit if the crook surrendered right then and there without recognizing king Id be more willing to consider it valid. The problem is he doesn't surrender until he recognizes who king is...Suggesting before that he wasn't truly afraid up to that point, simply startled/intimidated.

People guys are looking too into it

King has a scary face and a loud heartbeat that intimidates people. Especially when they know his reputation, which every monster he's intimidated has. He does not canonically have any supernatural abilities. That's the entire joke with him. He's just a normal guy who everyone thinks is the strongest.

Meh. Could be.

Anyways, this has already been debated before and it hasn't been agreed on, so i don't see a point in bringing it up again without more scans to back up any side of the discussion (wether King has those abilities or not).

Waiting for his showdown against the executives in the manga may give us something new.

Without spoiling anything, can you confirm to me that King will be going up against four Dragon-level monsters (based on the webcomic)?

Think of it this way, if King has Fear aura, do you think people like Goku, Light Yagami, Luffy will be terrified of him and not fight him even though they know nothing about King and only heard the fake news about him being strong? Having a fear aura means every character will be terrified from you except to those who have fear resistances. He doesnt have powers manipulating fear, he's just being misunderstood

Supernatural Luck are those people who use luck as a superpower and have control over it. I already said it, King maybe lucky but not on a supernatural level. Here's a character named Bunny Girl Kare and this is how supernatural her luck is:

  • Unbeatable Emperor: The absurdity gained by Karen at the end of the gambling games. Karen acquired the character of the Unbeatable Emperor, the ruler in gambling stories who never loses. Without even needing to do anything, Karen can call in an infinite supply of success, which she compared to being a deity of victory. Because of this, Karen can't lose any kind of luck-based gamble, no matter if the odds are one in a million, one in a billion or even worse, she will succeed with ease as long as they're not zero. The enemy attacks will miss and fail to harm her, the ground will break beneath the enemy's feet, their weapons will break mid-swing, etc. When she and Higashikawa Mamoru (who had gained a similar absurdity) fought, they realized it was impossible for them to kill each other, as their weapons constantly broke when they tried to attack the other person. Karen further stated that even if they brought a Gatling gun or a shoulder-fired missile to the fight they would still be unable to harm each other. This absurdity can also be used outside of battle, such as to deactivate a bomb by randomly pulling the correct wire or to successfully guess a password in your first try by typing at random. Additionally, Karen's absurdity works outside the constraints of time and continuity/causality, as she basically has the same ability as Mamoru and she similarly retained her ability after Mamoru used his to undo the past event that had granted them their absurdities.
