R1: Although Gildthunder has the skill advantage firmly in the bag in this round, I am giving it to Laxus because he can simply no-sell Gilthunder's lightning and even power-up from it.
R2: Tentative Gilthunder via blitz and a lengthy battle (as far as I know, Fairy Tail has yet to show Massively Hypersonic characters outside of the dragons).

R1: Laxus. He will just powerup from all the attacks Gilthunder throws at him and will defeat him with ease.
R2: Not sure how this fight will go, but Gilthunder will blitz and not sure if his attack will harm him??

Laxus' speed is getting upgraded so he will take both rounds soon enough. As for the second round, Gilthunder carries a sword, right?
