Honestly, it'd be easier if Light just went to 4Chan and tried to get some guys to find info about Lelouch. They're good at thats stuff.

Lelouch vs Light

Lelouch would win
.Too many options to his advantage .He would first gather info and slowly climb to the top as he knows his power lies in controlling the masses and since he isnt fighting an empire but rather controlling it from within it would be extremely fast process, find person geass him let him lead u to a higher ranked person and repeat. by the time light starts dishing out his grand plans lelouch would be standing at the top constanly monitoring the country for anything unusual.

I don't believe the time it takes Lelouch to move around, physically approach indviduals and "slowly" climb to the top is faster than Light directly writing the names of people at the top of the country on a notebook. Plus, Light would be more familiar with our Tokyo than Lelouch. I don't see how Lelouch has any speed/time advantage concerning such aspects.

My only question is, why would they even attempt to do the objective? I mean, they can do whatever they want except leave Tokyo, so why should they even care? Well, I guess Lelouch care, but Light? Light would probably just set up a new Kira operation to eradicate every criminal on that new world, and because Light's world and this new world is almost the same, Light probably already know how to slither around, and with his experiences against L, he probably won't take taunts or anything else, which is what open L onto the location of Light. If Lelouch were to try on taking over the world or just the nation of Japan, Light would certainly just wait out how until Lelouch expose himself onto the public, in which Light would start to at least realize that is the man he need to kill, and Lelouch, while knowing of Kira's existence, won't have a clue, and Light, will have a clue, and at least have a plan. Light could just wait until Lelouch start to have bodyguards, then make one of them scream Lelouch's real name until their lung exploded.

Geass and The Death note are both equal in many ways, both having only one shot per person, limits and whatnot.
What gives Kira the win is the fact he has more experience and better plans. Kira actually won for at least a few years, and constantly avoided detection, despite the entire world goverment being after him
His plans are indeed quantifiably superior. Take note of Lelouch's scheme and Kira's involving memory. When Lelouch erased his own memory, his plan spanned only some minutes and was nearly thwarted by Mao. Compare that to Light, who made huge plans that spanned months and required him to be operating without any knowledge of it.
Furthermore, Lelouch always had to be bailed out by C.C., with her protectin his identity and usin him as a stand in. Compare that to Ryuk, who barely stepped in and when he was, was coerced or manipulated, and unlike C.C, did so mostly unwillingly.
Once again, Lelouch also is not as great at hiding his identity as you would think. His identity was threatened far too many times for tis and always responded poorly, with little backups. Compare this to Kira, who was left unchecked for years and was ultimately unconcerned by L's discovery of his loction. Heck, L found out where he LIVED and still couldn't catch him.
Also, Light losing because he was the ultimate loser of his story is inherently flawed. Not only did he actually succeed for years, but it took the smartest people in the world to kill him and even that was widely considered PIS.
So all in all, Light wins.

Light loses memories to hide himself if he feels threatened, Lelouch cannot do anything to light, Light recovers the death note once he gets some kind of clue and just kills the most likely target, since Lelouch is the only thing on TV, i would see Light just killing him for the lolz.

Actually, Lelouch will kill Light with Geass, Gun or mecha on the spot. He doesn't care about people when he is Emperor and everyone knows his name. If we are talking about Zero, then, Light will never see his face. Regardless, Lelouch controls everyone in Tokyo to go after Light and kill him in his behave without doing anything. Light would probably try to join the Black Knights to stay close to Lelouch like he did with L. Lelouch won't show his face to his comrades, so Light is doom. Lelouch, on the other hand, will suspect any treasonous behavior because he such a control freak.
