Krieg was indeed shocked about Mihawk following them all the way to East Blue, but that was merely because his ship had just been destroyed. Once Mihawk turned to leave after defeating Zoro and being genuinely impressed with his resolve, Krieg arrogantly stepped out to reaffirm why Mihawk went there in the first place and proceeded to attack him once Mihawk merely stated he got his fill for the day.
